Like a fruit tree, it grows upwards. Ultimately possessing the two purities, the Dharma-nature that is uncompounded and uncreated. Because the object of purification has become manifest, the basis and result are without distinction. This, in the category of Mantras, also has the cause of causes and the lord of purity. The Vajra-mind, the mind of clear light. Possessing all kinds of supreme qualities, etc. It is well distinguished by the name of Vajra. Especially the great mudra of definitive meaning. Sealing all three realms. The unsurpassed wisdom. There is nothing beyond this alone. Thus, those fortunate enough to realize this. Entering the stages of meditation. In a place that is extremely secluded and delightful. Free from the distractions of busyness. Abandoning the thorns of contemplation. Practicing the union of tranquility and insight. First, on a comfortable seat. The key points of the body are the seven dharmas of Vairochana. The key points of the mind are not following after the past. Not welcoming the delusion of the future. Whatever thoughts arise in the present. Directly, without fabrication, leave them as they are. Sometimes with twigs and pebbles. Especially in the form of the body of the Lord of Sages. Focusing the attention closely. Do not let that continuity be distracted. Furthermore, there are the vase-like practices. Vajra recitation, subtle bindus. And the contemplation of the great emptiness, gradually gathering in, etc. Rely on whatever mind-holding is appropriate. When drowsy, focus on the forehead. When agitated, focus on the bindu below the navel. Skillful means such as focusing the attention. Abide in a state of non-contrivance and natural liberation. Thus, when entering with effort. At first, due to the movement of conceptual thoughts. Unable to abide in a state of equipoise. It is like water flowing down a steep mountain. Then, like a river flowing slowly. Thoughts arise and cease alternately. Finally, like a great ocean. Abiding single-pointedly in a state of immovability. Furthermore, it is said that there are five experiences: wavering, attainment, familiarity, stability, and consummation. In essence, they are all included in the stages of experience just mentioned. In short, the appearance of objects and subjects is clear but without grasping. Abiding in that state, body and mind are satisfied with the bliss of extreme pliancy. At that time, various kinds of mundane superknowledges and miraculous powers will arise. Afflictions and attachments will naturally diminish. These are said to be signs of familiarity. Second, with the profound wisdom arising from meditation that distinguishes all dharmas. Seeing the very nature more directly than before. Like this, then.

All external appearances are unreal illusions, like dreams. Furthermore, these are transformations of the mind. Through careful observation, the object of grasping will collapse. The inner mind is also the same; the signs of arising, ceasing, coming, going, and abiding are all empty. This is a great, inconceivable state; one must definitely abandon the self-nature of clinging. In this way, one can be free from the grasped and the grasper, and attain the great mudra of unchanging awareness and emptiness. Whether in samsara or nirvana, at any time, there is nothing to be abandoned or attained; everything is naturally accomplished. Ultimately, with vajra-like samadhi, destroy the stream of sudden obscurations, and the original, pure nature will be liberated in self-aware primordial awareness. Furthermore, the awareness spoken of here, and the term "foot" used earlier, both use the mode of dependence and support to lead us into the city of liberation. Third, when the practice of shamatha becomes熟练, and vipashyana wisdom arises, that itself is the nature of samadhi, and when perfected, it becomes union. Therefore, one must transcend acceptance and rejection, abandonment, affirmation, negation, hope, and fear, and in the ordinary state of awareness, maintain the self-power of mindfulness without distraction. In short, in the state of meditative equipoise, it is the yoga of the union of shamatha and vipashyana, and after meditation, all appearances should be viewed as arising dependently and illusory. In this way, for sentient beings who have not awakened, fill your heart with unbearable compassion. By realizing that the essence of all phenomena is emptiness, one naturally accomplishes the two benefits. Subsequently, accumulate and possess the stream of pure two accumulations, and in the state of the three spheres being empty, dedicate all beings to the cause of accomplishing the two accumulations. To eliminate obstacles and increase merit, pray to the lama from the depths of your heart and receive the four empowerments. Settle all appearances in their own nature, and gather virtuous dharmas that unite skillful means and wisdom. Eventually, gradually pacify thoughts, clinging, and effort, as well as the boundaries between meditative equipoise and post-meditation. Even the subtle dualistic appearances are abandoned, and one can touch the original, primordial ground. At that time, essence, nature, and compassion are indivisible, and the co-emergent four kayas are manifested, which is the result beyond severance and maturation. From the Vajra Dohas of Accomplished Definitive Meaning, the chapter on distinguishing the stages of the actual path is the second. Again, drawing from that, some words are condensed into essence and spoken. In order for those who can realize the supreme and profound state of practice, and thereby attain the supreme truth free from extremes, to speak of this definitive meaning of Madhyamaka.
