This is the sequence of merging appearances and mind into (luminosity). Then, at night, purify the outer vessel and inner contents and merge them into oneself. One's own body becomes the form of the great powerful father and mother, appearing as emptiness, clear like the moon in water. In the mandala of Avadhūtī (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝདྷུ་ཏཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: Avadhūtī, Sanskrit Romanization: Avadhūtī, Chinese literal meaning: Defiled One), the bindus of five lights are in a round, tubular shape. The wisdom being Samantabhadra, is the form of the empty-clear rainbow Mahamudra. From that, light radiates, gathering all the skandhas and elements, becoming a great luminous bindu. Transcending coming and going, abiding in the innate state. Without attachment to appearances, train in one's own power. Through habituation, the external and internal arising substances will reach the point of exhaustion. This is the sequence of merging into the ocean of night yoga. The inner sunset, arising, and gathering, the yoga practice of the four appearances that accompany the two rays is: Letting go of the three doors and nine actions, posture, way of looking, door, object, wind, pierce the expanse with the key of wisdom. At that time, the light halo bindu, through the intermediate vajra chain, directly sees the nature of connection. Through habituation, the light appearance greatly increases, wisdom is slow, and the rays of light shine, pervading and unmoving wherever one looks, the experience of appearance increases. Then, through the power of reaching the Sambhogakaya's measure, the bindu ripens into a cluster of the three bodies. Whatever appears is pure and boundless, perfected as the Mahamudra itself. When the ultimate nature of reality is exhausted, the movement of life energy transforms into wisdom. When (wisdom) awakens, the arising mind and all phenomena of luminosity, dissolve into the great expanse of appearance. Having obtained mastery over arising and dissolving, the three bodies are spontaneously accomplished. This is the sequence of the inner sunset yoga merging the expanse into wisdom. This method is blessed by the primordial protector, the omniscient Dharma Lord, in the incomparable vicinity, the yogi Padma joyfully wrote. May virtue cause the laws of existence and peace to dissolve into the luminous central channel, thereby meeting the face of the self-liberated meaning of the Lama, and may great accomplishment be perfected! Guhya. Auspicious! This is the vajra spontaneous song of clarifying the generation stage, called "Establishing the Basis of Appearances and Existence." Ah Ho! From the very beginning, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are the great mudra of the perfectly accomplished deities. Therefore, I pay homage with the view of non-duality. All that appears clearly manifests as the body of the yidam deities. That too is the reality without attachment, the dancer of the moon in water.

Joy in the heart! The winds of coming and going, life and effort, With the gathering and dispersing of union mantras, The indestructible vajra song of Nada, Is perfected in the sheath of the clear light Dhuti. Whatever arises in memory and awareness is self-liberated, The life of the present innate knowing, Pierced with a peg in a non-distracted state, The fruit ripens into great wisdom. The outer vessel is the palace of the five lights and five mothers, The inner essence is Padma Heruka, With the resounding sound of the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) in the song of appearance, The clinging to stability and movement is severed in the subtle places. At that time, the host of grasping and clinging, the enemies of demons, Is sealed off with the abandonment of friends and relatives, In the Akanishta of self-appearing meaning, The pure and vast expanse dawns as one. Ah ho! The song of clear awareness and experience, In Onpu Taktsang Sangphuk (place name), At the time of gathering the assembly, The yogi Padmasambhava sang with joy. May virtue transform clinging to appearances into the body of a deity, The arising and dissolving of the wind element is perfected in mantra, May the glory of Heruka (Sanskrit: Heruka), in whom grasping and clinging ripen into the Dharmakaya, be manifest! The profound practice of Chögyal connected with the conduct of a renunciant, the vajra spontaneous song called "Self-Liberation of Samsara and Nirvana." Ah ho! Dharmakaya Prajnaparamita, Sambhogakaya Yogini, The union of the two Kayas, the dancer of the Nirmanakaya, I prostrate to Labkyi Drölma. That which was closely taught by her, From the sacred Dharma Chögyal, The vajra song condensed into essence, Is divided for the benefit of the fortunate ones. Furthermore, first of all, the support of leisure, This itself is extremely difficult to find, Having found it, even though it possesses the essence of meaning that goes to the end of existence, Since there is no certainty as to when one will die, Without wasting it in any way, Thinking about how one follows the results of black and white karma at the time of death, Drawing the mind with the thought of renunciation from the suffering aggregates of samsara, From here until the heart of enlightenment, Taking refuge in the Lama and the Three Jewels as the essence of refuge, And with the mind of wanting to attain Buddhahood for the sake of others, Generating the Bodhicitta of aspiration and practice. Especially the basis from which all common and uncommon qualities arise, Meditate on the profound Guru Yoga, Encourage the mind with the faith that you know, Receive the four empowerments in one seat, Offer the mandala of body, enjoyment, and all possessions in the three spheres, Cutting off hope and fear directly, The clinging to samsara and nirvana is self-
