Fifty-nine years after the previous incarnation of the body, Drubwang Pema Norbu, was born, and when the master's uncle Pema Dechen Lingpa was thirty-five years old after his birth, he was born on an auspicious day in the middle of spring in the Tibetan month of the Earth Male Tiger year (1758) of the twelfth Rabjung. After about seven days, the great treasure revealer Rinpoche arrived and bestowed the immortal Longevity empowerment. The great wisdom blessed him, and he was given the name Dorje Tsewang Norbu. After about three months, he could understand words, and after seven months, he could ask and answer questions without hindrance. The signs of protection by the dakinis and Dharma protectors were clear. All the imprints of the previous life also gradually awakened. "I am Namkhai Nyingpo, the practice place is Lhodrak Kharchu." he said. "I am the great accomplished Pema Norbu," he roared like a fearless lion. The great treasure revealer Rinpoche also recognized him as the incarnation of Nub Namkhai Nyingpo and the great accomplished Pema Norbu, and prophesied that he would become an incomparable great person in the future. At those times, he also met the great master Padmakara again and again. He also met many of the masters of his previous life.
