Secondly, the teacher Simhabhadra, the cause of composition is threefold perfection: the unbroken lineage of oral instructions, expertise in the meaning of the scriptures, and having received manifest blessings from the Yidam deity. He also requested the Sadhana of the Lord from Khenpo Vairochana and practiced it. In the eastern Khasarpani, the Lord appeared from the clouds and asked which commentary to follow since there were many commentaries on his treatise. He replied to understand everything well and compose a commentary that integrates the meaning. Therefore, he received the permission of the Lord.

In order to prostrate to the all-knowing, the speaker who possesses all kinds of expressions and speaks of all that should be spoken, therefore, briefly explain what is to be said and what is to be said. Explaining the number of verses of the explainer, divided into two parts. The first part is: "The Prajnaparamita is." These two sentences indicate that the genre of this treatise is that your Prajnaparamita Sutra has three types: extensive, medium, and concise, which are true and correct, because it is explained in a non-inverted way, divided into eight chapters in terms of the expresser, and also divided into eight parts in terms of the expressed reality. The explainer, the Prajnaparamita Sutra, has eight chapters: The Chapter on Subhuti explains all-knowingness, the Chapter on the Purity of Two Extremes explains the Path Wisdom, the Chapter on Special Conduct explains the Basis Wisdom, the Chapter on Suchness explains the Complete Stage Yoga, the Chapter on Pure Precepts explains the Peak Yoga, the Chapter on Gradually Entering the Precepts explains the Gradual Yoga, the Chapter on Perfecting the Precepts explains the Instantaneous Yoga, and the Chapter on the Fruit of the Precepts explains the Dharmakaya. The second part includes the Three Wisdoms, the Four Yogas, and the Three Dharmakayas. The first part is: "All-Knowingness is the Path Wisdom." and so on, two sentences. The Three Wisdoms each have their own nature: The ten dharmas such as generating the mind, and the ultimate wisdom of the basis, path, and all-knowingness, are the nature of all-knowingness. The direct perception of the Mahayana noble ones, which is held by special skillful means and wisdom, is the nature of the Path Wisdom. The wisdom of the Hinayana, or the wisdom of the lineage of the noble ones, which is distinguished by residing in the category of realization of the Hinayana, is established as the nature of all-knowingness from then on. Establishing the nature of all-knowingness in this way is to generate an understanding of the general path in the mind by indicating the all-knowingness to be attained. The classification of all-knowingness includes: Suchness and Extent, and the all-knowingness that knows all knowable phenomena, and the kind of direct realization of the ten main meanings of cause and effect. There are two types of all-knowingness. Its boundary is only the Buddha-ground. The classification of Path Wisdom includes three types from the aspect of the category of realization, there is the Cause Path Wisdom, the Fruit Path Wisdom, and various classifications of whether or not the inferior path has been experienced beforehand. Its boundary is all Mahayana noble ones. The Basis Wisdom has three types classified by the three noble ones, and the uncommon qualities.
