It is the view of Uddiyana. As it is said, based on pure discipline, it was translated and determined by paṇḍitas and great translators. Wise and accomplished ones explained and practiced it, so for all those with wisdom, it has become a recognized and established system of sutra and tantra, like an ocean, reaching the peak of extensive learning. Regarding the combination of those words, the explanation of meanings, and even the subtle practices of rituals, they also distinguished between the real and the assumed, the intention and the necessity, the differences between one's own and other's tenets, etc. With speculative wisdom, they thoroughly analyzed the additions and subtractions. Whether teaching others or writing treatises, at any time, it is established by scripture and reasoning, and without error, they follow the oral instructions of the lineage of gurus, without mixing in the words of other schools, or even a trace of self-created impurities. In particular, the profound path in general, and especially from the Lord Vajradhara and the accomplished Virupa, the lineage between the Indian and Tibetan wise and accomplished ones has never been interrupted. No dog has entered in between. Practicing the precious oral transmission where the breath of the ḍākinīs has not yet faded, possessing the four validities, they cultivate it in their hearts. First, they ripen it through the power of the causal time. In the middle, through the power of the path time, the stream does not dry up, and they nourish it by taking the four sessions, thereby becoming familiar with the four paths of the two stages. Finally, through the power of the fruition time, in this life or in the bardo, etc., they will definitely attain the supreme accomplishment of Mahāmudrā, which is a path that is far more excellent than other paths. Furthermore, by practicing the supreme accomplishment, common accomplishments naturally arise, and by practicing common accomplishments, supreme accomplishments naturally arise. Through countless people who have certainly mastered the profound and vast instructions, they easily connect themselves and others to the temporary and ultimate two kinds of accomplishments. Furthermore, in addition to guarding one's own tenets without error, although they do not follow other schools, they do not slander them with unreasonable hatred, except for some analysis of those schools with scripture and reasoning, and they do not create sectarian bias and hatred. Although they possess vast realizations and clairvoyance, etc., inwardly, they maintain a state of concealment. As it is said in the Glorious Guhyasamāja, "Outwardly, maintain the conduct of a śrāvaka, inwardly, delight in the meaning of Guhyasamāja."
