Specifically in writing, similar to the Brahmin Lekjin and Thonmi Sambhota. In medicine, being the actor who protects from the fear of untimely death, similar to the son of Gyunshé, the youth's nourisher, Phakhol, Dawa Ngönga, Yuthokpa, and the successive scholars of Jangzur, etc. In poetry, being skilled in Ocean-born, glorious Daṇḍin, Gewang father and son, Yangchen Gawa, etc. In lexicography, similar to the teacher Amarasimha, Rabjor Dawa. In astrology, similar to Vajra Family Holder, the large and small Kalachakra, the three oceans. In black calculation, similar to the four methods of divination, namely requesting, illusion, receiving, and holding, as well as Kham, Tra, Kyung, Nak, etc. Whatever is worthy of praise, one should speak words and meanings that are appropriate and pleasing to the ear. Next, for those suitable examples, one should also list the superior, middling, and inferior people who are widely known in the land of snow. First, to offer to the supreme protector of the teachings and beings, His Holiness Sakya Dagchen Rinpoche, I write: The essence of the eighty-four thousand teachings of the Buddha, profound and secret, Is fully matured in your wisdom and compassion. You nourish fortunate beings with the nectar of ripening and liberation, May the lotus feet of the Dagchen Lama remain forever. Like a mirror, you are skilled in distinguishing the qualities of the Dharma, If my mind is attached to the realm of devotion and admiration, I humbly request you to listen to my small voice of supplication, Which is the stepping stone for the movement of your compassionate eyes. From the deep ocean of vast Bodhisattva conduct, You have perfected the ten powers, and the three secrets are manifest like daylight. In the sky of the merit and aspirations of the teachings and beings of Jambudvipa, May the light of your intention radiate in all directions.
