In the center of rainbow clouds, the Dharmakaya Amitabha is red in color. The hands are in the meditation mudra, holding a bejeweled bowl filled with nectar. The Nirmanakaya appearance is as generally described. The seat is a lotus and moon disc. A rainbow of light connects him to the crown of Orgyen (Padmasambhava). To his right, slightly lower, is Avalokiteśvara, resting in his natural state, with his right hand in the varada mudra and his left hand in the refuge-granting mudra, holding a white lotus. He is adorned with silk and jewels. His left breast is covered with a deerskin, as is generally described. He is in the half-lotus position, seated on a lotus and moon disc. To the left is the Yidam Yöngdü Tamdrin (Hayagriva), reddish-brown in color. His right hand has the thumb and ring finger joined, with the remaining three fingers raised, in the subjugating mudra, brandishing a curved knife. His left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood. He has the eight charnel ground adornments and bone ornaments, and a wrathful expression, as is generally described. Wings and other heroic adornments are not necessary. The consort, the Dakini Kundü Vajravarahi, holds a curved knife and skull cup, embracing the father. She is adorned with jewels and bone ornaments, and wears a leopard skin skirt. On the crown of the father is a green horse head, with red mane, white teeth, and yellow forelocks, neighing with its mouth open towards the sky. On the crown of the mother is a pig's face. The father and mother are in actual union. The left leg is extended in a striding posture. The seat is a lotus and sun disc. The four maras are: to the right, the son of the gods mara, white in color, with a peaceful expression; the klesha mara, red in color, with a desirous expression; to the left, the skandha mara, green in color, with a seductive expression; and the death mara, black in color, with a wrathful expression, all looking to the left and right. The outer surrounding is in the form of a mountain of fire. In general, this Hayagriva is not as extremely wrathful as the Nyingma wrathful Yamantaka, but slightly more wrathful than the Sarma wrathful Drangsong. The body is also depicted as elegant and graceful, rather than stout and short. Below the Great Compassionate One, is the tertön Sangye Lama, with a full and majestic body, round, piercing eyes, a slightly smiling mouth, and curly hair. Inside, he wears a white secret garment, over which is a Chinese-style robe, and over that a yellow upper garment with connected twisted knots in the center of the chest, like a Chinese-style robe. Over that, he is wrapped in a red monastic robe, and on his back he wears a loose, reddish-brown cloak. He wears a Padma Sambhava hat with short, backward-pointing ears, adorned with gold thread. His right hand is in the teaching mudra, and his left hand is in the meditation mudra, on which rests a treasure box. The seat is a small jeweled throne and silk cushions. Below Hayagriva.
