With the devotion and reverence of believing that you are the actual Padmasambhava, inseparable from Uma, and subduing the appearance of existence, I offer a mandala as the fee for requesting the profound sequence of blessings and empowerment. Having offered the mandala in this way, with flowers in hand, join your palms together and pray with unwavering faith and intense longing. Please repeat the following three times. Emaho! I pray to the Dharmakaya Amitabha! I pray to the Sambhogakaya Mahakaruna! I pray to the Nirmanakaya Padmasambhava! Please grant me empowerment and blessings! After praying in this way, Guru Orgyen Rinpoche opens the door of compassion and bestows the permission of the command. Listen carefully: My Guru, the wondrous emanation body, was born in India, studied and contemplated, appeared in the center of Tibet, subdued the arrogant, resided in Orgyen, and performed deeds for the benefit of beings. The Lotus Skull Garland, inseparable from the three bodies, bestows the sacred empowerment upon you. Then, for the sake of accumulating merit, in the sky in front, visualize the deathless Lotus Skull Garland, inseparable from the Guru, with clouds of the three bodies arising like the ocean, surrounded by a multitude of the three roots and Dharma protectors, bestowing blessings like rain, residing vividly before you. Take refuge and generate Bodhicitta, and with the intention of accumulating the two accumulations through the seven branches, please repeat the following three times. Namo! I and all beings equal to space, vow to accomplish the benefit of others, take refuge and generate the mind of enlightenment. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hrih)! Invite the Vidyadhara Padmasambhava and others, and perform the vast and complete seven-branch offering. In order to possess the vows of the Tantra, in front of the field of merit visualized earlier, with the vows and precepts gathered by the three, Pratimoksha, Bodhisattva, and Mantra, take them in the manner of transforming the essence, and protect them in the manner of increasing merit. With this intention, please repeat the following three times. Holder of the Orgyen lineage, son of the Buddhas! Vajra Master, please listen! From now until enlightenment, the Pratimoksha and Bodhisattva vows, the inner vows of the Vidyadhara, I will uphold them truthfully, and will not abandon them even at the cost of my life. Please bless me! Having thus endowed the continuum with vows,

In order to lay the foundation for us and to bring down wisdom, you should sit upright in the vajra posture. The key to speech is to bind the breath in union. The key to the mind is not to be distracted elsewhere, but to focus in this way. Oṃ Haya Grīva Hūṃ Phaṭ (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཧ་ཡ་གྲཱི་ཝ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ haya grīva hūṃ phaṭ,Literal meaning: Oṃ, Hayagrīva, Hūṃ, Phaṭ). Oṃ Svabhāva, etc. The disciple is in a state of emptiness, without any object of focus. The powerful Hayagrīva is red in color, holding a knife and skullcup and dancing. At his heart, the swastika turns to the left. Above, the sow dances. Meditate on the Guru Tothrengtsal, thinking of him as real and generating devotion. Through the power of generating intense longing, red rays of light emanate from the Hūṃ at his heart, radiating to all the Buddhafields in the ten directions. In particular, from the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain, it strikes the heart of Orgyen (Padmasambhava). All are inspired to keep their vows. The mudras of body, speech, and mind descend like rain, entering the pores of the disciples, filling the body, and dissolving into the sow at the heart, gradually dissolving and generating wisdom, turning into unbearable bliss. Recite and contemplate in this way.
