To save from the suffering of samsara, holding tightly with compassion, I pray for the granting of power and blessings! After praying like this three times, thinking that all the sins and obscurations accumulated from beginningless time have been washed away, then actually wash with vase water. Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ!) In the vase of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, reside the peaceful and wrathful deities of the Buddhas. Fortunate one, as you are being empowered, may the gate of rebirth in the lower realms be cut off, and may the six realms of beings be free from suffering! Like this, after the peaceful and wrathful mantra and the hundred-syllable mantra, add the mantra for purifying the lower realms to cleanse: Oṃ daha daha sarva naraka gate hetuṃ hūṃ phaṭ! Oṃ paca paca sarva pratika gate hetuṃ hūṃ phaṭ! Oṃ matha matha sarva tidhmaka gate hetuṃ hūṃ phaṭ! Furthermore, recite the hundred-syllable mantra and the Dharani of Vairocana Buddha's non-conflicting nature, etc., and sprinkle blessed sand, thinking that this purifies the seeds and habitual tendencies for being born in the lower realms. Son of the lineage, may all the sins, obscurations, afflictions, bad fortune, and inauspicious things accumulated from beginningless samsara be completely pacified and become extremely auspicious! Thus it is said. After that, is the empowerment for increasing actual qualities: The disciple transforms into the form of glorious Vajrasattva, male and female, arising from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ!) on a lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon cushion. The master places the vase on the crown of the head: Arising from the vows of the three bodies, destroying afflictions and hatred, with this pure nectar of the gods, I empower you as Akṣobhya! Hūṃ Vajra Dharma Dhātu Jñāna Abhiṣiñcāmi! By dripping the vase water on the crown of the head, the water stream of the nature of Akṣobhya, the Dharmadhatu, empowers. The entire body is filled, experiencing the wisdom of great bliss. At the place of empowerment, the essence of nectar condenses, transforming into the sambhogakaya attire of Akṣobhya to adorn the head. Thus, fortunate vidyadhara, may your hatred, the aggregate of consciousness, be transformed into the immovable Akṣobhya. The wisdom of the Dharmadhatu is manifested. Crown.
