O Bhagavan, Protector... From the hands of the fire god in the southeast... Same as before. O Bhagavan... From the hands of Yama in the south... etc. O Bhagavan... From the hands of the Rakshasas in the southwest... etc. O Bhagavan... From the hands of the water god in the west... etc. O Bhagavan... The Dakini of the Vajra family in the east, her body is blue, radiant, holding a longevity vase in her hand, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of blue Dakinis, she is a sixteen-year-old maiden. Of the Vajra family, hook life! The Dakini of the Ratna family in the south, her body is yellow, holding... surrounded by yellow Dakinis. Sixteen years old. Ratna family... The Dakini of the Padma family in the west, her body is red, holding... surrounded by red Dakinis. Sixteen years old. Padma family... The Dakini of the Karma family in the north, her body is green, holding... surrounded by green Dakinis. Sixteen years old. Karma family... Hook the life that fulfills all needs and desires! Hook the life that is without flaws! Hook the life that is immutable and stable! Hook the life that accomplishes all actions! Recite like this, and here also recite many mantras, and blow on the longevity arrow. Measure the height yourself, and if it increases by one finger, etc., that is good. Or, without dissolving the mandala above, immediately without making any mental adjustments, just rest slightly in the state of non-elaboration, great luminosity. Then, recite many longevity mantras and blow on the arrow. It is also said how to do from the beginning of hooking life to here, so you can do it according to your preference. If it is a single self-generation deity, then light radiates from the letter Ah at your heart.

Therefore, by gathering the mandala and dedicating the merit with the pride of being the main deity, one should then engage in conduct. Next is the actual receiving of empowerment: Please grant the empowerment of the Rainbow Body Vase! Please grant the secret empowerment of the Wisdom Wind! Please grant the wisdom empowerment of the Great Bliss Bindu! Please grant the power empowerment of Manifest Awareness! After praying in this way three times, the five families of Amitayus come to the crown of one's head in succession and bestow empowerment. Recite and contemplate this, placing the vase on the crown of the head, and recite: I am Buddha Amitayus. With one voice with all the Buddhas, I bestow the Buddha's life empowerment upon the body. May you, child, be liberated from the Lord of Death, may your life increase for a thousand kalpas, and may the sin of killing be purified. Om Buddha Abhishinca Hum. In this way, the five families bestow empowerment. Then, clearly visualize a one-cubit-high Amitayus on the crown of the head. From that, light radiates, inviting all the life and wisdom of all the Buddhas of the three times in the form of white and red Hum letters, which dissolve into it. That also dissolves into light and enters downwards from the Brahma aperture on the crown of the head. At the heart, it transforms into the bodies of the five families of Amitayus. Those dissolve into light and pervade everything, contemplate that you have transformed into the essence of immortal life, and place a vajra on the crown of the head.
