At the end of the root mantra: Śāntiṃ. Puṣṭiṃ. Pāśaṃ. Māraya phaṭ. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) Peace. Prosperity. Binding. Destroy! The atonement is: Hūṃ. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) Mighty deities and retinue, outer, inner, secret offerings I present. I confess all violations and obscurations. Grant the accomplishments of body, speech, and mind. Recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra. The dissolution of the mandala is: The environment and beings dissolve into the palace. That, too, the retinue and all the retinues, dissolve into the main deity, and the main deity itself, becomes emptiness, radiant like a rainbow. Aspiration: By this virtue, may all beings, relying on the excellent path of the generation and completion stages, and the Great Perfection, quickly attain in this life, the state of Heruka. Auspicious words: By the power of the Three Roots, the mandala wheel, the great compassion that is not deceptive, may all supreme and common accomplishments, be spontaneously accomplished. Other auspicious words should also be adorned with various appropriate ways. The practice method, blessings, and empowerments of the Four Destroyer Gods, with the virtue of having arranged them very clearly, may the two types of accomplishments be quickly attained. This, adorned with the root text and the oral instructions for practice, for the sake of making it easy for oneself and others to enter, was written by the Śākya monk, vidyādhara Dorje Thugchok Tsal, in the great ocean of teaching and practice, the second Ogyen, the Dharma school of glorious Katok Dorje Den, in the self-arisen, deathless, accomplished Joyful Grove, the peak of Gandhola, which is delightful to see. The scribe was the bhikṣu Śrī Sāgarā. May it be victorious! Homage to the Guru! Based on the Bhagavan, the Four Destroyer Gods, the ritual for liberating from nāga harm, the Ambrosial Tree. As for the mandala and any kind of Naga mandala, such as left or right: If it is made, on the ground laid with Dorje ropes, the edges of the green lawn symbolizing new greenery are cut, and various trees are arranged to make it beautiful. On the base decorated with red silk and cloth banners, eight-petaled lotuses are drawn with colored powder, and in the center is the image of a Naga, with the head of a snake raised, the upper body is that of a celestial being, the hands are clasped, and the lower body is in the shape of a coiled snake tail. On each of the eight petals, a Naga image smaller than the central Naga image is placed, or eight tormas with snakes coiled around them. In the four directions of these, the images of Naga demons are placed: an ox, a threatener, a frog, and a crocodile head, or a torma. If it cannot be made, in a clean container such as a copper basin, nine piles of white rice are arranged, with the Naga image in the center, and tormas in each direction. In any case, in front of it, in a copper basin, place the larger ransom image to be practiced, along with Naga medicine, curd, and white water. In another clean container, place snakes, frogs, calamus, fish, leeches, incense, conch shells, crocodiles, turtles, otters, threateners, horse leeches, parasites, fish scales, water horses, water sheep, water buffaloes, marmots, water birds, otters, and water rats, which are the twenty-one Naga treasures, as well as twenty-one pills and twenty-one small ransom images. In another container, place milk mixed with Naga medicine, and if desired, a spoon can be placed. On top of the Naga mandala, on the vase, place black hair, wool, calamus, juniper, kusha grass, and peacock feathers bundled together as bathing substances, or just peacock feathers will suffice. In front of the master, place the activity vase, vajra bell, hand drum, blue and red mantra rope, mustard seeds, and other necessary items gathered together. With the generation stage of self and front being inseparable as a preliminary, for the vase of the deity, recite the specific mantra as much as possible, and in the activity vase, visualize that on the clear body of the wrathful deity nectar vortex, tiny particles of vajra nectar descend, filling the vase. Recite the Amrita (Tibetan: བདུད་རྩི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृत, Sanskrit Romanization: amṛta, Chinese literal meaning: nectar) mantra, and after reciting as much as possible, make offerings and praises. With Om Ah Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् आः हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om Ah Hum), offer the water of the conch shell instrument as an offering, and visualize that the deity in the vase dissolves into light and becomes one with the water in the vase.
