Enter, Phat!). Thus, remove the blindfold. In this way, after the obscuration of ignorance, symbolized by the blindfold, is removed, develop the aspiration to see clearly the great mandala of the noble Avalokiteśvara, Lord of the World, along with its deities and entourage, as if it were directly in front of you, having obtained the new eye of wisdom. Furthermore, as a symbol of burning away the thoughts of dualistic grasping, a fire of wisdom blazes intensely on the outside. Within that, as a symbol of the non-conceptual wisdom that cannot be destroyed by anything, is a vajra enclosure. As a symbol of the purification of the eight consciousnesses into their respective places, are the eight great charnel grounds. As a symbol of being unstained by faults, is a garland of lotuses. As a symbol of the self-luminous nature, is a sun cushion. As a symbol of the purification of the twelve links of dependent origination, is a base of various kinds with twelve vajra enclosures below. As a symbol of the Buddha's own wisdom appearing in forms and colors, fulfilling the hopes of those to be tamed, is a palace made of precious materials. As a symbol of the complete and unadulterated purification of all the qualities of the resultant state, such as the qualities that are not mixed with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, in the center of the mandala, with all its shapes, decorations, and other characteristics complete, is a four-petaled lotus with a center, representing the five wisdoms. In the places of the five families are cushions of lotus and moon mandalas. At each of the four gates is a moon cushion. The deities of the entourage: in the center of the mandala is Akṣobhya Lokéśvara, Lord of the World, white in color, the essence of the Dharmadhātu wisdom, with anger purified into its place. To the east of the four petals is Vairochana Lokéśvara, Lord of the World, blue in color, the essence of the mirror-like wisdom, with ignorance purified into its place. To the south is Ratnasambhava Lokéśvara, Lord of the World, yellow in color, the essence of the wisdom of equality, with miserliness purified into its place. To the west is Amitābha Lokéśvara, Lord of the World, red in color, the essence of the discriminating wisdom, with desire purified into its place. To the north is Amoghasiddhi Lokéśvara, Lord of the World, green in color, the essence of the accomplishing wisdom, with jealousy purified into its place. All five are peaceful and smiling, with the right hand in the supreme generosity mudra and the left hand resting on the hip, adorned with silks and jewels. They stand in an equal posture. At the four gates are the four gatekeepers, the embodiment of the four activities, who subdue beings with the four immeasurables: the white hook-mother at the east gate, the yellow lasso-mother at the south gate, and the red chain-mother at the west gate.

The north gate is the green Bell Woman, with all four arms in the left threatening mudra, and her feet in a straddling posture, adorned with silk and jewels. All these deities should generate genuine and unwavering faith with the thought, "This is the wisdom of mind's self-arising, the wisdom appearance manifesting as the unceasing play of illusion, now symbolized by these representational signs and seen." Thus introduced. After the sequence of entering inside and out is completed, secondly, to bestow the empowerment of manifestation in the entering mandala, first visualize the Lama as being of the nature of Vajra Body, and offer a mandala for the purpose of requesting the vase empowerment. Thus instructed, the disciples offer the mandala. After offering the mandala in this way, with unwavering faith and intense devotion, repeat this prayer: Lord of compassion of all Buddhas, in this mandala of Lokeshvara, please grant empowerment to me, a worthy vessel, and cause me to mature and be liberated. Three times. After making this prayer, enter into the actual empowerment. Generally, the nature of empowerment is to make manifest the particularly excellent result to be obtained, or to mature it into a capacity that is sure to arise. For example, it is like sowing seeds in a field when water, fertilizer, temperature, and moisture are abundant. The etymology is derived from the word "Abhiṣiñca" (Sanskrit Devanagari: अभिषिञ्च), which means to completely pour or infuse. The four empowerments wash away the defilements of one's own share and establish the share of the special seeds of the four bodies, hence it is called empowerment. Generally, the basis of purification for empowerment is the innate four vajras of the object to be obtained. What is to be purified are the temporary gross and subtle defilements that obscure them. The method of purification is the empowerment given in accordance with the student's intellectual capacity, which matures them to be able to practice the corresponding path and to be able to attain the result. The result of purification is that the seeds or special abilities of the four bodies are nourished. If we differentiate from the perspective of what is being empowered, there are four empowerments in relation to the basis of purification, the four vajras, and the result of purification, the four bodies. First, it is now appropriate to bestow the vase empowerment in the image mandala. Among these, there are two types: the beneficial empowerment or the empowerment of the disciple, and the power empowerment or the empowerment of the Vajra Master. The first is the beneficial empowerment or the wise
