Through profound means and profound Dharma, the methods for prolonging life, eliminating obstacles, and accomplishing the immortal wisdom body are taught to sentient beings solely out of compassion, and this should be taken as primary. This is because it arises from the power of abandoning the causes of delusion, attaining unerring wisdom, and long-term habituation to compassionate means. Therefore, the essence of all well-spoken sublime Dharmas is the Vajrayana. And the Vajrayana is more profound than the common Dharma, so those with sharp faculties should diligently practice the many doors to longevity spoken of in the precious tantric scriptures. Here, from the Anuttarayoga Mother Tantra, "Tara Manifestation," it says, "Tara is the one who deceives death." "She liberates from disease and prison." "Life, wealth, diligence, power, and wisdom will increase." Therefore, it is considered to be what is to be explained. Although she is established as the mother of the Karma Lotus family due to the power of the deity and mantra, this does not contradict the fact that there are many different lineages of the White Tara Wish-Fulfilling Wheel practice in India and Tibet, the most important of which is: the ritual spoken of in the treatise "Collected Rituals for Deceiving the Lord of Death" composed by the great master Vagishvarakirti, who received the blessing of the wisdom body of the Holy Mother herself, which still exists today and has not been mixed with any impurities, so this is mainly used for explanation. It is divided into two parts: the history that leads to definite understanding and the actual practice that arises from it. The latter is further divided into: the subsequent permission to make it a vessel for accomplishing attainments, and the stages of the path of means for accomplishing attainments.
