In the praise to the mother of Rāhula, it says: "Beyond speech, thought, and expression, the perfection of wisdom." Thus, after thorough examination through scripture and reasoning, it is definitively established as inexpressible. And when the inexpressible is definitively reached through experiential meditation, the two ultimately become one taste. When liberated from the elaborations of conceptual grasping, it is the manner in which the examination of view is perfected. Omniscient Prajñā Raśmi says: "Whatever arises, such as mind and mind-essence itself, when sought in every way, internally and externally, the wisdom that is the object-possessor is not found by searching. Even if one wishes to observe it very closely for a moment, it is the primordial wisdom that is free from all elaborations of conceptual grasping, the self-recognition of innate awareness, the clear and lucid, non-conceptual wisdom. This is the main point of view of all practice lineages." As it is said. In short, what appears as an object of focus through conceptual investigation and analysis is the conventional truth. Know that these are merely labels, and the way they relate to their results based on their respective causes is like the reflection of the moon appearing in a pond, or like the horses and elephants conjured by a magician. When it appears in this way, from the very moment of appearance, the ultimate truth is realized, the emptiness free from elaboration in which not even a particle of reality can be found, like the expanse of space. Based on this, the appearance itself is empty of truth, and from the moment of emptiness, appearance does not cease. In the manner of union, all phenomena included in samsara and nirvana, all existence, are realized as the fundamental Madhyamaka union of two truths, thereby destroying all the nets of permanence and annihilation at once. This is the king of reasoning, the reasoning of dependent origination. Master Nāgārjuna said: "Whatever is dependently originated is explained as emptiness. It is dependent and designated, and that itself is the Middle Way. Since there is no phenomenon that is not dependently originated, therefore there is no phenomenon that is not empty." And, "Conventional and ultimate, if one understands them separately, and then perfectly mixes them, it is called the path of union." And, in the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra it says: "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form, form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form," and so on for all aspects.

Having generated supreme certainty in all that has been said up to the attainment of omniscience, one cuts off imputations and slanders through listening and contemplating, and strives to experience it through meditation as much as possible. Thus, great compassion arises effortlessly for those sentient beings who have not realized this, and skillful means by which whatever one does becomes beneficial to others also arise naturally. Therefore, the more certainty and experience one gains in the meaning of reality, the more compassion arises. By this, the accumulation of merit and wisdom is perfected in union, which is the unmistaken path of the Great Vehicle. As the teacher Shantideva said: 'Emptiness possessed of the heart of compassion, through conduct, one purifies merit.' The way to practice such superior insight, non-conceptual wisdom, is as follows: Having thoroughly cut off imputations and slanders regarding the meaning of what is to be meditated upon through listening and contemplating, one sits in a secluded place on a comfortable seat, endowed with the posture of meditation. Preceding this is the accumulation of the seven-branch offering and the generation of supreme bodhichitta. Taking the two selves, the self of the person and the self of phenomena, which are the basis for the arising of the characteristics of grasping at a subject and object, as the object of investigation, and then, with the valid cognition of the wisdom that investigates ultimate truth, one investigates as previously mentioned, until finally it is established as inexpressible. In that state, abandoning other conceptual thoughts of grasping at characteristics, one remains in equipoise in the state of indivisible clarity and emptiness, which is the wisdom that realizes ultimate truth, free from elaboration, like space. Omniscient Prajñārasmi said: 'At the time of joining, the basis for the arising of characteristics, that itself is determined as the support for investigation; at the time of the actual practice of liberation from the four extremes, clear emptiness, without grasping, is the custom of the ancient wise ones.' And, whatever the method of meditation, whether it be investigation or abiding, one's own characteristic, the naturally luminous, clear and pure arising, without meditation and without distraction, is the main practice of all the practice lineages. Thus, that very equipoise is also the union of calm abiding and superior insight. Investigating with reason and establishing it as inexpressible is superior insight; abiding in that state in the manner of clear emptiness, without conceptualization, is calm abiding. One should know that these two are inseparable in essence, and are a union. After rising from the session, one dedicates the merit and makes aspirations. At all times between sessions, whatever arises.
