This is the teaching on not pervading all places. First, this is divided into two parts: For one's own benefit, the ultimate Dharmakāya, also known as the meaning body, which has the ten powers, four fearlessnesses, and eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, is the fruit of being free from what is to be abandoned, and possesses thirty-two qualities. For the benefit of others, the conventional body or the body of signs, is the fruit of the maturation of a sea-like accumulation of merit, and possesses the thirty-two major marks. Combining these two aspects, the two bodies possess sixty-four qualities of separation and maturation. As stated in the Uttaratantra, "The ultimate body for one's own benefit and the benefit of others, And the conventional body that depends on it, The fruit of separation and maturation, And the sixty-four distinctions of qualities," and so on, is extensively taught. Among these, first, the thirty-two fruits of separation are divided into three categories. First, the ten powers of the Tathāgata are the special wisdom known by the Buddhas and noble ones, which cannot be destroyed by any opposing forces, and this is the characteristic of power. Differentiating them: Giving rise to enjoyment is the place, stinginess giving rise to it is not the place, and so on. For the field of cause and effect that encompasses samsara and nirvana, having unobstructed knowledge, is the power of knowing what is and is not the place 1. For the nature of good and evil and detailed classifications, from the subtle to the extremely subtle, knowing them without confusion, uncreated karma will not be encountered, created karma will not be wasted, and being skilled in teaching that karma is what one owns, is the power of knowing the maturation of karma 2. Knowing the sharpness and dullness of the faculties of those to be tamed, such as superior faculties, intermediate faculties, and inferior faculties, as they are, is the power of knowing the superior and inferior faculties 3. Knowing the world of those to be tamed, that is, the various kinds of lineages, definite and indefinite, and among the definite, knowing which of the three vehicles they belong to, is the power of knowing the various realms. Knowing which of the three vehicles those to be tamed prefer, that is, knowing the various inclinations or thoughts, is the power of knowing the various inclinations. For the path that universally goes to higher realms and definite goodness, that is, the path of the three vehicles, and merit and immovable karma, and the opposite of these, and so on, having unobstructed knowledge, is the power of knowing all paths to their destinations.

The power of. 6. In the four meditations, eight liberations, and nine successive states of meditative absorption, the power of knowing all defilements and distinctions of purification without confusion is the power of knowing all defilements and purification. 7. Remembering one's own and others' past lives, the power of knowing past lives. 8. Relying on the clairvoyance of the divine eye, observing the states of death and birth of beings from this life to future rebirths without confusion, the power of knowing death and birth. 9. Knowing without confusion the states of abandonment and exhaustion of outflows of the three bodhi of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Buddhas, the power of knowing the exhaustion of outflows. 10. These are the ten powers. Second, the four fearlessnesses are: The Tathagata appears in the midst of many people, and others cannot find an opportunity to refute what he has promised in accordance with the Dharma, and having no fear is the characteristic of fearlessness. Classification: One has manifestly and perfectly awakened to Buddhahood, and promises to understand the unconfused nature of all dharmas. Others say that one has not understood this, and there is no place for refutation in accordance with the Dharma, so understanding 1 is perfectly complete and is fearlessness. I say that I have abandoned the two obscurations together with their predispositions, and promise that I have exhausted all outflows. There is no refutation in accordance with the Dharma, so abandoning 2 is perfectly complete and is fearlessness. These two are qualities possessed by oneself, so they are fearlessness of perfectly complete self-benefit. When showing the path to others to be tamed, proclaiming that afflictions such as attachment are obstacles to the path, there is no refutation in accordance with the Dharma, so proclaiming the Dharma of obstacles 3 is fearlessness. Proclaiming that pure dharmas such as faith are the path to definitely escape from samsara, there is no admission of refutation in accordance with the Dharma, so proclaiming the path of definite escape 4 is fearlessness. These two are spoken for the purpose of benefiting others, so they are fearlessness of perfectly complete benefit for others. Third, the eighteen unshared qualities are: Any dharma that Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Bodhisattvas, etc. do not possess, because it is not ordinary and common, so the difference in qualities that only the Buddha possesses is the characteristic of unshared qualities. Classification: Six unshared qualities of conduct. 6. Unshared realization
