Not making an effort towards co-emergent (lhan cig skyes pa), is a special pith instruction that connects to the fruit of Mahamudra, from the secret paths of Sutra and Tantra. As Lord Gampopa said: "Mind-essence co-emergent is the Dharmakaya, appearance co-emergent is the light of Dharmakaya, therefore appearance and mind are inseparable, co-emergent." And: "Mind and conceptual thought, the three Dharmakayas, the first is co-emergent, because of uniting them with pith instructions, isn't it called co-emergent union?" Like that, at the time of practicing such meaning, pure awareness, that is, ordinary awareness without fabrication. Tilopa said: "Hey ho! This is self-knowing wisdom, beyond words and speech, not the object of mind's activity. I, Tilopa, don't need to rely on anything. Show yourself to yourself, and understand!" As it is said, like the state of the ground view, after recognizing one's own nature, not 1 thinking, not 2 contemplating, not 3 examining, not 4 meditating, not 5 focusing the mind, resting in naturalness. In this way, without distraction, maintaining mindfulness and awareness, practicing the path of vows, the experience gained is the actual basis of the path. And its branches, through practicing the profound means of striking the vital points of the Vajra body, combining view and conduct. Furthermore, the means related to the Tantras, in the authentic teachings, it is said: "Tummo is the action seal, illusion is dream clear light, Bardo is transference of consciousness, entering a corpse." Thus, Tummo is the root of the path, action seal is the auxiliary of the path, illusory body is the life force of the path, dream is the temperature of the path, clear light is the essence of the path, Bardo is the intelligence of the path, transference is the expulsion of the path, entering a corpse is the connection of the path, these are the eight dharmas. In the oral transmission related to blessings, there are six dharmas excluding action seal and entering a corpse. Furthermore, the five dharmas including transference within Bardo, and the four, Tummo, illusory body, clear light, dream, which are dominated by the four chakras, etc., and the two dharmas that are summarized as root and branch, etc., are the main practices of the Kagyu Dagpo. The main basis is the blessed Mother Tantra Chakrasamvara. The four great accomplished ones where the river of transmission converges, that is, the disciple of Tilopa Sherab Zangpo, the gatekeeper of the Northern Gate, the Pandit Naropa, that is, the Supreme Foot, or known as the Undisputed Foot, is the supreme special instruction. 前者有:觉沃(Jo bo),玛尔巴(Mar pa),银楚贝若(dNgul chu be ro),贡尼汝巴(Kong ni ru pa),印度恰那(rGya gar phyag na),尼泊尔阿苏(Bal po a su),惹琼巴(Ras chung ba),阿里纳波(mNga' ris nag po)等八位。

From Jetsun Marpa Lotsawa Chokyi Lodro, who received the Ra teachings and delighted him, a vajra-like manifestation of a human. Through practice, it spread in this land of snow mountains. Its main disciples are the teachings of the three of Tsur, Ngog, and Mes, and the tradition of practice held by Milarepa. His disciples, like the sun and moon, are Gampopa Rinpoche and Rechungpa. The former's disciples are Phagdru's heart-son Gyaltsa Rinpoche and Kuntan Rechung, from whom the Khropupa and Lingre developed. The disciple Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje transmitted the Palden Drukpa. Among Gampopa's disciples, Zhang Trowai Gonpo, the heart-son of meditation practice, transmitted the Tsalpa Kagyu. Gampopa's disciple, the incarnation of Chenrezig, Karmapa Dusum Khyenpa, transmitted the Karma Kamtsang Kagyu. Phagdru's disciple, Drigungpa Rinchen Pal, transmitted the Drigung Kagyu. Taklung Thangpa Tashi Pal transmitted the Taklung Kagyu. These two, Drigung and Taklung, the fortunate Zurwa Yeshe Sengé's disciple, Gyalwa Yawazangba, transmitted the Yawazang Kagyu. These Kagyu schools mostly originate from Drogön Phagmo Drupa Dorje Gyalpo's throne-holder, Chakyatsa Rinpoche's Phagdru Kagyu. In short, there are two traditions of Mahamudra: teachings and practice. The former includes: Jowo, Marpa, Ngulchu Berö, Kongni Rupa, Indian Chagna, Nepalese Asu, Rechungpa, and Ari Nagpo, about eight in total. Although it was very prosperous in the early days, it is not very common now. The latter, the practice lineage of the Kagyu, is the unparalleled Dagpo Kagyu. Through its teachings, practice, and meditation, it has beautified almost all the valleys of the snowy land. Among them, the Palden Drukpa Kagyu, from Je Götsangpa, the upper Druk, is like the stars in the sky, and from Gyalwa Lorepa, the lower Druk, is like the pride of the earth. There is a saying: "People are not divided into Drukpa, Drukpa are divided into beggars, and beggars are divided into accomplished ones," which is widely known like the wind, and the lineage is like a river. The practice of these lineages is: the key is the view, the Mahamudra instructions; the key is meditation, the Six Yogas of Naropa instructions; the key is conduct, the elements' taste equalization instructions; the key is the result,
