Itself. The meaning of "Dzogchen" is, if derived from the Sanskrit word "Mahāsanti" (藏文:མ་ཧཱ་སནྟི།,梵文:Mahāśānti,梵文罗马拟音:Mahāśānti,汉语字面意思:Great Serenity), it becomes "truly great meditation." It is the meaning of the unsurpassed wisdom in which all phenomena of samsara and nirvana self-arise in the expanse of the sole reality that transcends the views of the eight vehicles of mind. In terms of classification: realizing that all phenomena are the play of the sole nature of mind, transcending causes, conditions, effort, and accomplishment, thereby liberating from the extreme of what is to be abandoned, is the outer Mind Section. Within that, there are seven subdivisions, such as considering the result as the source of mind. All phenomena, without coming or going from the expanse of the Dharmata Samantabhadri, thereby realizing that the three kayas do not change from the self-existing Dharmadhatu, liberating from the extreme of antidote, is the inner Space Section of Non-Action. Within that, there are four sections of the boundless expanse of white, black, and variegated. Realizing that all phenomena of the ground, path, and result are the meaning of the inseparability of Kadag and Lhundrub, according to how their own nature is, thereby liberating from the extremes of both what is to be abandoned and antidote, is the secret and profound Instruction Section. Within that, there are three: oral instructions, oral transmissions, and the exposition of the tantras in one's own tradition. As it is said in the Great Array Sutra: "For sentient beings, the Mind Section; for those of space, the Space Section; for those free from effort, the Instruction Section." So it is said. The main practice of Dharma is based on the root tantras: Mahāyoga, Anuyoga, Mantrayoga, and Atiyoga. The special instructions of Śrī Siṃha (藏文:ཤྲཱི་སེང་ཧ།) the Glorious Lion are the most supreme. First, the command descended upon the mantra-holder Vairocana. Having taken it to heart in practice, he spread it in this land of snow mountains. It is. Among them, in terms of the Mind Section, it was transmitted to the sovereign Trisong Detsen (reigned 790-858), the queen Yudra Nyingpo, Sangton Yeshe Lama, Pang Sangye Gonpo, and Lize Sherab Dronma, said to be in five stages. From both Vairocana and Yudra, Jñānakumāra heard it, and so on. In terms of the Space Section, it was propagated after Vairocana transmitted it to Pang Mipham Gonpo, and so on, endlessly. In terms of the Instruction Section, the Heart Essence cycle, from Śrī Siṃha, to the wise Yeshe Do, Paṇchen Vimalamitra. They transmitted it to the sovereign and Nyangben, and so on. The great teacher Padmasambhava heard it from Śrī Siṃha and transmitted it to the dakini Tsoyal, and so on, later widely propagated through the kindness of the omniscient Dharma King Drime Ozer (1751-1825).

Sa Nyungma and Khon Zur Nub Myö, Se Rong Pye and Kyo Tön Yung, etc., the oral lineages of the Early Translation Nyingma are countless. The glorious Zurpoche Shakya Jungne relied on Nyang Ye Jung, Lhe Shak Chok, Rok Shak Jung, and many other lamas, excelling in the three sections of Sutra, Illusion, and Mind. He separately explained the root tantras and explanatory tantras, commentaries and sadhanas, instructions and oral teachings. He had four chief disciples, eight pillars, one hundred and eight great yogis, etc. The main one among them was Zur Chung Sherab Drakpa, and his lineage son Dro Phukpa Shakya Senge, known as the three Zurs, forefather, son, and grandson. During their time, the activity of the Early Translation Secret Mantra spread like the sky, and Tibet was spoken of as being similar to the land of Oddiyana. This is the ornament of the Great Perfection teaching. Taking full advantage of leisure and opportunity, the difficulty of finding them, impermanence and death, the infallibility of karma and its results, the faults of samsara, and cultivating the two aspects of bodhichitta with diligence, the Kadampa is the main practice of Dharma, where all the words of the Victorious Ones appear as instructions for one person to attain enlightenment. These are known as the three: scripture, instruction, and oral teaching. The scripture and instruction each have separate texts that mainly explain view and conduct, while the one that explains both in combination is the "Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment," and the oral teaching is the secret Dharma collection of Jowo and his sons, the "Precious Garland." Among these, the subject matter of the "Lamp for the Path" is, as stated in the text: "Know that there are three types of individuals: small, medium, and great." Thus, it is the stages of the path of the three types of individuals. Moreover, the Sanskrit word for individual, Purusha, means capable, so here, the individual referred to is one who is capable of accomplishing benefits for future lives and beyond. Among them, one who turns away from attachment to this life and is able to adopt and abandon actions based on karma for the sake of their own happiness in future lives is a small individual. The actual basis of the path for this individual is the four contemplations: impermanence, the faults of the lower realms, refuge, and karma and its results. One who turns away from all of samsara and is able to properly cultivate the three trainings of the path for the sake of liberation from it is a medium individual. In terms of vehicles, this includes the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and in terms of what is contemplated, the Four Noble Truths and Dependent Origination.
