The meaning of Om Mani Padme Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ मणि पद्मे हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Jewel, Lotus, Hum)! O Jewel Lotus Hum! This is a mantra that starts from the hand symbol of the noble one and calls out from the name. In other aspects, there are endless explanations to be elaborated. Om Padma Kamalaya Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་པདྨ་ཀ་མ་ལཱ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ पद्म कमलाय हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ padma kamalāya hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Lotus, Lotus, Hum)! The seven branches are: Thus, motivated by faith in remembering the immeasurable qualities of the place, transforming one's own body into the fine dust of the field, and serving with reverence with the three doors is the branch of prostration, the antidote to pride. Representing the bodies and enjoyments of oneself and others, along with the ocean of virtuous accumulations, offering clouds of unsurpassed offerings, their appearance as vast as the edge of the sky, their essence being good and virtuous, their time manifesting continuously without interruption as long as samsara exists, is the branch of offering, the antidote to attachment. Confessing and disclosing all the sins and downfalls of the past, together with myself and all beings, and the naturally occurring impairments, with a remorseful mind like drinking poison, and with a vow to not do it again even if it costs one's life, is the branch of confession, the antidote to hatred. The contaminated and uncontaminated gathered by the streams of the noble and ordinary beings,

Again and again rejoicing in all roots of virtue is the antidote to jealousy, the branch of rejoicing. I beseech the Sugatas and their offspring residing in the ten directions to turn the wheel of Dharma, profound and vast, in accordance with the dispositions, powers, and thoughts of all sentient beings, in order to lead them to the path and its fruits, this is the antidote to delusion, the branch of requesting to turn the wheel of Dharma. I pray that those who rejoice in the assemblies of guides who appear to the sight of those to be tamed who hold to permanence, having entered into the peaceful sphere, may remain as long as samsara is not empty, this is the antidote to wrong views, the branch of requesting not to pass into nirvana. Represented by these accumulations of merit, I dedicate all the roots of virtue accumulated by myself and others in the three times to the unsurpassed great enlightenment for the benefit of sentient beings, this is the antidote to doubt, the branch of dedication. Most of these words are easy to understand, where is there room for extensive explanation? Please cultivate the eye of wisdom in other scriptures and commentaries! Second, the main part has four: first, Black Jambhala; second, the Hundred Offerings; third, incidentally, the Sixty-Four Yoginis; and fourth, water offerings for the pretas. First, in the first case, I will explain a little about the meaning of some mantras. Jambhala (ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ་) means Jambhala whose body is weakened, and 'la' is the root of holding, from which it is derived. The earlier translators abbreviated the sound and translated it as 'Mugzin'. In fact, it means 'having molars', because his teeth are like that. Bijapuraka (བི་ཛ་པཱུ་ར་ཀ་) means 'full of seeds', it is a yellow fruit, about the size of a closed fist, with a very rich taste and nutrition. Hūṃ hūṃ jva tvaṃ hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཛྭ་ཏྭཾ་ཧཱུྃ) are, in order: mirror, equality, observing action, and the seed of the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. Oṃ Jambhala Jalandhraye Svāhā (ཨོཾ་ཛ་བྷ་ལ་ཛ་ལེནྡྲ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།) means to establish the basis for Mugzin, the lord of water. Ārma Jambhala Baliṃta Kha Kha Khāhi Khāhi (ཨཱརྨ་ཛམྦྷ་ལ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི།) means: Holy Jambhala, eat the torma, eat! Eat! Saparivara (ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་) means with retinue. O Iṃdra Ni Mukhaṃ Bha Mari Svāhā (ཨོ་ཨིནྡྲ་ནི་མུ་ཁཾ་བྷ་མ་རི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།) means: having a shaking face.

is established on the throat's fire wheel. Zambala is an abbreviation of Jambhala, meaning essence. Namo Ratna Trayaya. I prostrate to the Three Jewels. Namo Mani Bhadraya. I prostrate to the Good Jewel. Maha Yaksha Senapataye. For the great Yaksha army chief. Tadyatha. Thus: Om Jambhala Jalandraya Svaha, as before. Tsa Jambhala Siddhi Phala Ho. May you be satisfied with the obscuration, accomplishment, and fruit. That's it. The procedure of this ritual is that both similarly generate the complete four limbs, offer the torma, make offerings and praises with offerings, and then supplicate, and commonly obtain accomplishments and supplicate to summarize. What is the reason for specifically offering to these two? Previously, when Devadatta threw a rock at the Bhagavan, Jambhala obscured it, so a piece of stone hit the top of his head, causing a wound, and to pacify the pain, it is said that later followers also make water offerings, and they will bestow the accomplishment of wealth. The other is that the Holy One, for the benefit of the poor, manifested with a fire wheel in his throat, and at that time, to pacify the splendor, if water is offered, it is said that a rain of wealth will fall. As it is said in the Great Compassion Lotus Net Tantra: Jambhala is offered with water, and the pretas are also satisfied with water. And so on, there are many sources, and it has also been explained in the uncommon tantras. Second, regarding the actual objects of the hundred offerings. In general, if all kinds of guests are gathered, they can be summarized into two: places of offering and places of giving. Among them, the first four are places of offering, and the remaining are places of giving. If we elaborate a little, there are four: guests who serve the Three Jewels, guests of the Protector's qualities, guests of obstacles and karmic debts, and guests of compassion for the six realms. If we further divide them, the first has one kind of guest, the second has three, the third has four, and the fourth has four, totaling twelve. General mantra meaning: Nama Su. I prostrate. Sarva Tathagata. All Thus Gone Ones. Avalokite. All-seeing Mother. Om Sambhara Sambhara Hum. Om, may it be completely perfected, may it be completely perfected Hum. Meaning: Thus Gone One
