The state of having passed away is not just in one direction. The inseparability of samsara and nirvana, the liberation from the two extremes, is the great primordial ground. As the Hevajra Tantra says: "This itself is called samsara, this itself is also nirvana. Having abandoned samsara, elsewhere, nirvana will never be attained." Thus, for sentient beings who do not realize this, the basis of delusion is co-emergent ignorance, and the basis of liberation for enlightened Buddhas is established as the wisdom that realizes emptiness. In essence, here too, one should attain the understanding that is pervaded by the inseparability of the two truths. Second, refuting the faults of samsara and nirvana being different is divided into two: First, the fault of samsara being inherently different: Thus, the lineage of nirvana and the continuum of samsara are not established as being inherently different. If it is said that the mind of enlightenment that abides in reality is the supreme nature of the union of the two truths, and that the substances of samsara and nirvana are definitely different, then samsara cannot be transformed or altered into nirvana by the correct path, because it is different. Second, the fault of inherently different nature is explained with an example: the Buddha who has gone to the pure land, and the sentient beings who are deluded in existence by wrong thoughts. If the nature of reality exists as inherently different substances, then it cannot be transformed into nirvana by the path, just as offering a plum will not produce the desired results equivalent to a precious jewel, so it is never possible for nirvana to arise from samsara. Second, the way of not understanding and being deluded: Therefore, although it is said that samsara and nirvana are inseparable, in this way, due to delusion, one wanders in the endless ocean of samsara in the manner of being entangled by sudden thoughts. Cause 1: Co-emergent ignorance does not recognize its own nature, and the ignorance of conceptual proliferation, with various wrong thoughts like ropes, acts as the cause of samsara. Action 2: The three of good, evil, and neutral, and the five root entanglements, the afflictions, a total of eight, are the conditions that propel one to higher or lower states of samsara. Samsara 3: The way: From ignorance arises formation, from that arises consciousness, name and form, the six sense sources, contact, feeling, craving.

The twelve links between union, taking, existence, birth, old age, and death revolve like a wheel, so they are repeatedly thrown into the state of existence. The result is that the appearances of the outer container world that is relied upon and the bodies, enjoyments, desires, etc., of the inner sentient beings that rely on it are different. These things that seem temporarily happy are all pervasive sufferings of formation. Even if it is happy now, the suffering of change is that it changes in an instant. Suffering upon suffering is the suffering of suffering. In that state, all three realms are exhausted, so they are far from the path of liberation and omniscience. Time is from the beginningless beginning of the first cycle of samsara, although it has been declining in the time of the four seasons, but the repetition is: other than the essence of the self-nature Tathagatagarbha itself, there will never be a situation of decline or inferiority. Third, it shows that confusion is not in the path or elsewhere, divided into two: briefly showing with metaphors, and explaining the meaning in detail. The first is: in that state of confusion, for example, even if the son of a king wanders among the people, he will not change the lineage of the king. Similarly, all sentient beings also have no signs of change in the lineage of the Dharmadhatu. The Victorious Maitreya said: 'How it was before, so it is later, is the unchanging Dharma nature.' Therefore, the cause is the path, and the result is also oneself and not another. For example, the gods of the Paranirmitavasavartin enjoy the utensils they create themselves, not assembled from different substances other than themselves. The second is divided into two: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. The first is divided into two: the state of the path residing in itself, and the state of the result residing in itself. The first is divided into four: the state of the teachings residing in itself, the state of the base residing in itself, the state of the meaning of the liberation path lineage residing in itself, and the state of the skillful means path residing in itself. The first is divided into two: the conventional path and the result do not reside elsewhere but reside in oneself, and in the ultimate and non-dual. The first is divided into three: in the conventional, the five basic wisdoms reside in oneself, the path resides in oneself, and the result resides in oneself. The first is: that is also
