In the 'Kunzang Sadhana,' it says: 'Because the essence is devoid of inherent existence, it is emptiness. Because the nature is devoid of cause, it is signless. Because phenomena are devoid of conceptualization, all things are definitely liberated from signs.' Thus it is said. 'Other than attachment to the continuum of ordinary conceptual thoughts, there is no other suffering of existence. The mind that is completely contrary to this will be directly realized. In that which has a profound and vast nature, conceptual appearances will not arise. Since it has been previously established that things that are separate from awareness do not exist, even experiencing once those things that are incompatible with it leads to regression and decline. Through distracted practice of the view, one greatly obstructs what is incompatible with oneself. Even generosity and other actions endowed with selflessness do not change the nature of ordinary people. Therefore, even if they exist, they do not become incompatible. Having realized this and possessing compassion, one accomplishes immeasurable wisdom in an instant. Who would not steadfastly meditate on the essence of the glorious Samantabhadra?' Thus it is said. Also, in 'Entering into the Proof of Self,' it says: 'The nature of mere conceptualization and its separate connections is entirely characterized by immeasurable suffering. Experiencing conditioned existence, which continues from one moment to the next, its mere cessation is Nirvana. Therefore, one should strive diligently to accomplish Nirvana. Because there is no samsara other than conceptualization. Therefore, when you are free from conceptualization, you are always in Nirvana.' As it is said. Furthermore, because the nature of mind is devoid of characteristics such as grasping, it is the nature of the Dharmadhatu. It is luminous because it is free from sudden defilements. And because it is the cause of generating other wisdoms, it is the nature of mirror-like wisdom. Because of the nature of impartial great compassion, it does not grasp other different continuums, so it is the wisdom of equality. Because it knows all knowable things as they are, it is discriminating wisdom.
