Of speech, mind, and intention. Having settled in the supreme discipline, In the pride of thinking "I am," cultivate, That very second stage. At the end of a monastery or a village, In any such place, All the tasks that are appropriate to do, Having done, sit on a comfortable seat. Then, all sentient beings, Focus on the four great Brahma abodes, Thereby purifying the karmic obscurations Of one's own mind stream. Focus on the mind alone, Make the external nature empty. That mind alone also Make empty, and abide in mere self-awareness. That self-awareness also, like the moon, Consider as a seat, and then the letter. Touched with a pen, it becomes a symbol. Then, generate yourself as a deity, Endowed with the pride of the deity, Seal with the four seals, Transform the mandala wheel. By pleasing it, training and familiarizing with it, The external body is turned back, The supreme conduct of the Buddhas, Meditate on that very end. Your own heart, with the samaya mudra, Residing as a symbol in your heart, The supreme wisdom of all the Tathagatas, For those of the first stage, The letter clearly appears as a form, The indestructible seed of your own deity, Burning with five rays of light. With its five colors, From the gate of a thousand rays of light, Emanate in various ways from the right. At its base, the Sugatas With the wheel of the mandala, Having filled the ten directions of the world, All sentient beings arising from the conceptual thoughts of breath, Generate as the body of the Buddha, And having melted the moon, Having dissolved and purified, Those are in the nature of wisdom, Enter into the left Ha syllable. Its symbol residing in the center, When placed on the seed, That itself is the Buddha, The jewel that generates all qualities, The lord who pervades all things, The great indestructible bindu, Highly endowed with five rays of light, In the amount of a mustard seed, Gather all dharmas into your own mind, And contemplate them thoroughly. With the gradual rays of that, Pervade your own place. From that, the samaya seal arises, That inner clarity clarifies the outer body, Having clarified the mandala, and having clarified, Also clarify its place. From that arises the self-nature within, The sixteen forms of bodhicitta, At the base of the thumb is the letter A(藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿).
