Therefore, when explaining the meaning of "no-mind," the Yogacara school believes that there are only the six aggregates of consciousness. As Shantipa said in the Garland of Pearls: "The apprehended, the completely imputed, the six outer sense bases are without inherent existence, because they are separated from the nature of one and many, just as children conceive of things as real. The apprehending, the completely imputed, is the imputation of apprehending based on the six faculties and the six consciousnesses. However, just as it is imputed, it is without inherent existence, because if there is no apprehended, there is no apprehending." This is the general principle of mind. The apprehending, completely imputed parts of the six aggregates of consciousness are not established by inherent existence, and the parts imputed as apprehending the six faculties are also without inherent existence. But this is not to say that the six aggregates of consciousness themselves are not established by inherent existence or are not substantially existent. In general, one can follow the statement that "other-powered is born without inherent existence" and say that the completely imputed parts of all eight aggregates are without inherent existence. In any case, the six aggregates, etc., are established by inherent existence, but their completely imputed parts are established as deceptive appearances of duality, and are not established by inherent existence. This is their view. Furthermore, in the response of Chöje Namgyal Palzang, from the letter of Ngok Lo: "Like the destruction of a city in a dream, whatever is the discriminating thought of apprehending, that is the cause of the destruction of the city of the imputed meaning. If the city itself does not exist, it is like non-existence. In reality, there is no thing. The meaning imputed by the apprehending mind is not a negation in reality, but it is not a real thing either. Just as negation cannot occur in the absence of an object. Therefore, it must be determined as 'non-existence,' because the object of negation is not established. At that time, the negation is separated from its basis and will not remain in the mind. Therefore, if a thing is neither existent nor non-existent, and its negation is also not established, then any meaning that transcends these two cannot become an object of apprehension." Because it is so clearly stated, and because the Two Truths Commentary explains that ultimate truth is not an object of knowledge, therefore, the view of Jetsun Sakya, and the view of the essential meaning, which considers emptiness to be without inherent existence, these two views are consistent. If it is thought that they assert non-affirming negation, that is not correct. If that were the case, ultimate truth would become an object of knowledge and expression.

It must be considered in this way because it is the real object of the non-conceptual negation of other-exclusion. If so, then what does it mean to say that the valid cognition observes the aspect of the object with discriminating wisdom, determines that object, and holds it to be without other establishment? This is when performing the negation and establishment of other-exclusion, it is the occasion for showing the nominal truth of the enumeration, so it is different from the real ultimate truth. Furthermore, some of the former lamas of our tradition explain the Tathagatagarbha as the aspect of the luminosity of Dharmata. If that were the case, then the naturally abiding lineage should also be explained from the aspect of the luminosity of Dharmata, because there would be such a fault. Here, it is thought that the ultimate essence of the heart is shown only from the aspect of non-proliferation of union, and after obtaining the definitive view and establishing it as non-proliferation, all the virtues gathered by the six perfections of post-attainment, and especially dedications, are also sealed with non-objective wisdom. It should be known that the virtue to be dedicated itself transcends existence and non-existence. When dedicating in the manner of not dedicating at all, what need is there to say that the Dharmata, the ultimate truth, the Tathagatagarbha, is held to exist? In the state of knowing that all Dharmas also transcend existence and non-existence, constantly practicing them without abandoning them in a state like illusion is practicing in union. Just as a person who knows illusory horses and cattle does not acknowledge those illusory horses and cattle as either existing or non-existing from his own mind. However, when that person establishes terms in accordance with others, he can say to others, "This is a horse," "This is an ox," and so on. Similarly, those who have obtained the view shown above, let alone in meditative equipoise, even in the appearance of post-attainment, do not attach the names of existence and non-existence from the perspective of their own wisdom, nor do they make any grasping. However, for the sake of making others understand, they say, "It does not exist, but it does exist." As it is said in the scriptures, "I speak of what is done in the world." In this way, they attach various names. Therefore, if one conforms to such an ultimate practice, then acknowledging that Dharmata, the ultimate truth, exists as virtue and making dedications, etc., is tampering with the key points of Madhyamaka practice, because one holds supreme the dedication that is not grasped by the view of non-duality of samsara and nirvana.
