Thus, the state of possessing the three kayas and five wisdoms is attained, and having attained that, through the twenty-seven doors of activity, the activity arises continuously through emanations that are pleasing and appropriate to all beings. Śubham! Furthermore, from the commentary on the Lamp for the Path, the Excellent Cloud of Offerings that Pleases: The Sanskrit word "puruṣa" (पुरुष) means "capable," so one who is capable of accomplishing the benefit of future lives and beyond is called a "person" here. Among them, one who has turned away from attachment to this life and is able to practice the acceptance and rejection of actions and their results for the sake of future rebirths; one who has turned away from attachment to all of samsara and is able to practice the three trainings of the path for the sake of liberation from it; and one who, seeing the faults of existence and peace, is able to bear the burden of placing all beings on the ground of Buddhahood—these are the small, medium, and great persons. Their respective characteristics are: A person who is able to accomplish the benefit of future lives and beyond, with the differences of practice, thought, and means, abandoning evil and practicing virtue, with the differences of thought, the eight images, etc., the difference in result is that they aim only at the happiness of higher realms of existence, the bliss of samsara, which is encompassed by the abodes, bodies, and enjoyments of gods and humans, and with the difference in thought, they strive for the sake of themselves alone. Here, "the happiness of existence" excludes the intermediate person who strives for the sake of a basis for accomplishing the path to liberation. "Themselves" excludes the bodhisattva who strives for the benefit of others. The actual content of this path is the four contemplations of impermanence, faults, refuge, and karma and its results, and relying on a spiritual friend, and the three categories of leisure and endowment are made the basis of the path. These have been extensively explained in previous commentaries on the Lamp for the Path. The second is: A person who, with the difference in thought, sees that from the peak of existence to the Avīci hell, they are merely suffering, having become slaves to karma and afflictions, and who does not desire samsara even in a dream, turning their back on it, with the difference in practice, by the power of that thought, abides in whatever practice of the three trainings that is the nature of turning away from all sinful actions and samsara from the three doors, and the difference in result is that they strive only for the nirvāṇa of pacifying all suffering for themselves alone, is the intermediate person. Here, "turning one's back on the happiness of existence" excludes the happiness of suffering.

Thus, the karma of sinful deeds is called the truth of origin. Self-pacification is called the truth of cessation. The nature of reversal is called the truth of the path. Therefore, for the intermediate person, from the perspective of the vehicle, there are the two, Hearers and Solitary Realizers. From the perspective of what is to be meditated upon, there are the two, the Four Truths and Dependent Origination. There are the common selflessness of persons and the meditation on the subtle. According to the Yogachara Madhyamaka Svatantrika and others, there are those who meditate on the two emptinesses and a third. The third type of person refers to someone who can well recognize how they themselves are tormented by suffering, and measuring by that way, with the power of compassion that cannot bear other sentient beings also suffering in the same way, wishes to completely eliminate the suffering of other sentient beings and its causes through various methods. That is the most excellent. In the commentary of Geshe Tsul Sengpa, it says, or belonging to the Sangphu Svatantrika, that is, the suffering belonging to one's own continuum, wishing to bear all suffering until sentient beings no longer suffer, this is the aspiration to generate bodhicitta, and so on. Regarding this, from the perspective of view, there are Madhyamaka and Mind-Only. From the perspective of the vehicle, there are the two, Sutra and Tantra. Although many different bonds of the path have been made in the "Stages of Meditation", "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way", "Ornament of Madhyamaka", "Compendium of Trainings", "Blue Annals", etc., here the ritual for generating bodhicitta and the way of learning the conduct after generating bodhicitta, and recognizing the fruit of what has been learned, are summarized into three. Know that there are three types of individuals: small, medium, and great. It is said: Whoever, by whatever means, seeks only the happiness of samsara for their own benefit, know that such a person is the lowest. Turning away from the happiness of existence, being the nature of turning away from sinful deeds, whoever seeks only their own pacification, know that such a person is the intermediate. With the suffering belonging to their own continuum, whoever wishes to completely eliminate the suffering of others, such a person is the most excellent. So it is said. It is also said in Chinese, to know kindness and repay it, to know that the source of the Dharma is pure, to know Sanskrit. The first is that even a beggar is called an Acharya The second is to understand through the stories of the Acharyas of the three realms. The third is that the translator Muru understood translators by relying on the Sanskrit vocabulary of many Sutra titles. It is also said, individuals.
