He devoted great effort to the empowerments and oral transmissions of the tantras, such as the Great Perfection. From Kunga Namgyal, the official lama of Kunsang Wangpo in Gyalrong (present-day Danba County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province), he received the complete transmission of the collected works of Jonang Tāranātha. Regarding his writings: there are printed works such as supplements to the collected works of his own lama, Dharma Kara, as well as his own "Biography of Realization, Precious Garland," "Commentary on Kalāpa, Moonlight," "Mirror of Poetry," "Notes on the Wish-Fulfilling Thesaurus," "Revision of the Pearl Garland," "Complete Introduction to Prosody," and from Jangpa Tharchok, he heard much about Chinese calculation and geomancy. From the roots of newly translated words, he discussed the implied meanings of existence and non-existence, the reasons for Tsongkhapa's Vibhūti, and notes on Amitāyus, Kunrig, and Chaptor. He also wrote "The Extraordinary History of Medicine," "Commentary on the Practice of the Taksam Yidam Gongdü," "Commentary on the Practice and Retreat of the Yuthok Nyingtik," the great Torma of the Zur tradition's Four-Armed Avalokiteśvara, Chöd practices, and notes on the "Lamp of Clarity's" Torma Frame, Eradicating All the Sins of the Earth Lords," profound inner meaning notes, the reasons for the substances and mantras of fire offerings, notes on the identification of vase substances and philosophical schools, many verses and prose, notes on conversations with Panchen Lobsang Palden Yeshe, notes on the sixty calculations, mandala visualization, and other measurements, the rain invocation of Chakrasamvara Namkha Ding, the water offering fire offering of the Four Mothers of Vajrasana, explanations of the definitive meaning of Vajra Guru (藏文:བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་,梵文天城体:वज्रगुरु,梵文罗马拟音:vajraguru,汉语字面意思:金刚上师) and Thötreng Tsal, a complete elucidation of the secret meaning of the Archi-ka commentary, various notes on the oral transmission of Omniscient Dharma Kara, notes on the Great Perfection Heart Essence and the Ra tradition's Vajrabhairava oral transmission, the beginning of the year in the Phuk tradition's Black Calculation, and the anticipation of monthly and daily transits. A letter sent to those who speak of calculation science. 362 pages in total, the four create the merit of Brahma. As it is said in the root of one's own cultural omniscience in the Year of the Tiger, the four are the creators of Brahma's merit: in a place where it has never been before, the relics of the Victorious One are placed, a stupa is built, the monastic community is provided with enjoyment, the monastic community is reconciled by the number of a million, and the four immeasurables, such as love, are meditated upon.

Thus I have heard. The first of the seven merits arising from substance: building monasteries and temples, gathering a hundred thousand monks, cultivating the four immeasurables such as loving-kindness, these are the four. Temporarily generating the merit of Brahma, it is said that the results are the same. That scripture is the Vinaya scripture itself. In the context of expression, the actual count of the three real modes and the five imputed modes is not found in the Compendium of Dharma Aspects, etc. There are no other examples. Although there is an explanation of dramatic categories, there are no detailed explanations or meaningful constraints other than the names. On page 112, there are six ways of explaining: the body is upright, the eyebrows are raised, the eyes are slightly closed, the qualities of the mouth are opened, between the teeth, the tongue is extended, and it is said that the voice of Brahma is uttered. This seems to be a dialect of the early translation. It needs to be investigated which scripture has a clear source. On page 158, Jowo Je usually taught the method of spreading the mind-training lineage. There is no special mention of how it is taught in the great treatises of Yoga such as Vajradhatu. On page 159, Gyaltsa Lotsawa Yeshe Wo's practitioner also has the Immortal Ambrosia. In fact, the Phurba Gyalwa tradition, which has been passed down from Gyalwa Pakpa Pal and Gyalwa Kunkhyen Chenpo, still exists today. The abbot of the Gyalwa school, Tarlo, etc., also paid great attention to the translation and revision of the Nyingma scriptures, especially the Secret Essence. Gyalwa Kunkhyen was a contemporary of Buton Rinpoche and wrote many Nyingma texts. In addition, Gyalwa Chen Emogha also received teachings from Panchen Shakya and Shila Yangdag Me, so the Gyalwa family of Menlung mainly practiced Nyingma from the early generations, but no detailed history has been found. A detailed explanation of the five aspects of liberation has not been found. In general, in the writings of Kunkhyen Chenpo, special terms that are consistent with the Nyingma treatises are difficult to explain in Dharma language. For example, in the "Wish-Fulfilling Treasure," each form realm is explained as a sky of jewels. This only appears in the commentary on the "Pearl Garland Sutra" by Padmasambhava, and is not mentioned in any other sutras or tantras. Nowadays, the writings of both the new and old Kunkhyen are read aloud, but they also explain the reasons.
