Thirty-five faults of intoxication are spoken of. Therefore, son, if you wish to benefit me, you should not drink that which is the root of all faults. Thus it is said. Translated by the Khenpo Mahajñana of Kashmir and the translator Marpa Dharmeshvara.

O! The merit of discipline is that my discipline is not diminished, without defects, unmixed, undefiled, possessing autonomy, praised by the wise, and is a cause for accomplishing samadhi. The merits of the gods are that the gods of the four great kingly races, and from the Thirty-three up to the Paranirmitavasavartin, exist, which means to remember those gods and one's own merits. For the gods who are born in the heavens, the merits that are the cause of their birth, and one's own discipline, samadhi, and wisdom are the merits of the gods. So it is said. In essence, here, remembering only one's own merits as being equal to the merits of the gods is called recollection. And again, the six places of recollection are shown first because they purify the mind and are the cause of great merit. So it appears. That is, the merits of the Buddha and others should be recollected and kept in mind. That is, the Buddha and others should be recollected by their respective collections of merits. So, what is the collection of merits? Like this, that is the Bhagavan and so on. The ten obscurations are made into five because they have the same essence, because they are the same in agitation and dullness. Agitation and regret are both agitation, and drowsiness and sleep are both dullness. With one day's uposatha, one can be reborn in the abode of the desire realm gods. The appearance of the three kinds of lamps refers to the virtuous actions of the three doors, or the merit arising from the practice of giving. The twelve links of dependent origination are explained in the Salu Ljangwa Sutra. The term "profound" means that neither I nor others are born or created from causelessness. Defective discipline means excessive or inferior. Mixed means unwholesome. Defiled means dedicated to worldly purposes. Without those, there is no non-inferiority and so on. A person refers to fruits like mangoes, where the outside ripens first but the inside does not, meaning that the actions are perfect but the thoughts are inferior. The fruit of the kimapa refers to the skin being good but the inside being bad. Like honey...

The intonation is pleasant, like a flower is truth, like impurity is falsehood. Furthermore, the Powerful One also said: Subtle and inconceivable, extremely thin, all-knowing, all-doing. Those with wisdom attained through the practice of yoga are in the realm of meditation. The sun, moon, water, fire, wind, directions, and sky are its body. Those who desire to achieve peaceful happiness and joy should constantly meditate on the Powerful One. Thus it is said. The fourteen unanswerable questions are: the world is permanent, the world is impermanent, it is both permanent and impermanent, it is neither permanent nor impermanent, the world has an end, the world has no end, it is both with an end and without an end, it is neither with an end nor without an end, the Thus-gone One exists after death, does not exist, both exists and does not exist, neither exists nor does not exist, the life and the body are the same, the life and the body are different. These fourteen things, if asked, are unanswerable, so they are said to be unanswerable. This shows that these are the questions being asked. Because contemplating these places, the mind does not abide in peace, therefore they are not to be contemplated. Thus it is said. Earth, water, fire, wind, sun, and moon are the liberation of the heretics, may you attain liberation from them. This was translated by Sarvajñadeva and Bande Palbrtsegs. A commentary sent to the disciple, the teachings commentary composed by the teacher Vairocanaraksita, translated by Sugataśrīmitra and Tshul khrims rgyal mtshan. Furthermore, the extensive commentary on that commentary, composed by the teacher Śes rab 'byung gnas blo gros, is extremely clear, translated by Vināpa Candra and Chos kyi shes rab. From the content of inviting the abodes: From the center of the golden mountain flows cool water, the reflection of the moon appears in the water, the moonlight shines, the kumuda (water lily) blooms, in the kumuda garden, dwells the swan with a pleasant voice. The female swan makes a pleasant sound in the lake. On the mountainside, peacocks dwell with dance, plumply. The plump sound of the peacock echoes pleasantly in the valley. The branches of the valley are moved by the wind, the mountain top is lush. The upper part of the mountain top
