Meditate on these equanimities. First, if you do not contemplate the aspect of loving-kindness that is dear and pleasing to the heart, how can compassion that is free from suffering arise? Other sequences are also like that. Fourth, as an antidote to ignorance, meditate on dependent origination. What is dependent origination like? For example, with ignorance as a condition, there is action; with action as a condition, there is consciousness; with consciousness as a condition, there are name and form; with name and form as a condition, there are the six sense sources; with that as a condition, there is contact; with that as a condition, there is feeling; with that as a condition, there is craving; with that as a condition, there is grasping; with that as a condition, there is becoming; with that as a condition, there is birth; with that as a condition, there are aging and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, and agitation. Thus, only this mass of suffering arises. Having looked with the eye of wisdom, eliminate causelessness and so on. This meaning is stated in the Vinaya Pitaka of the noble Bodhisattvas: "Wherever ignorance will arise, The cause of affliction is not proper, Its condition is action, Suffering will continuously arise." Thus, having developed faith in the sequence of the arising of existence, contemplate from the cessation of ignorance to the cessation of only this mass of suffering. Then, ascertain impermanence, non-annihilation, non-transference, the arising of a similar continuum, and the arising of a great result from a small cause. For example, external seeds and sprouts, and the arising of fruit from them, these causes and conditions are related, namely the four elements and the element of time; these are just the twelve aspects. From cessation, eliminate causelessness and discordant causes. Here, by briefly contemplating dependent origination, wisdom is generated, and the nature of ignorance or the wrong views arising from it are abandoned. If you want to contemplate in detail, you should contemplate their respective characteristics, name and meaning, different functions, completely summarized by the five limbs, and the arising of two from three, and from two

The arising of the seven grounds, the arising of three from the seven, the establishment as the nature of the three times, and the connections of dependent origination should be kept in mind. Thus, what is it to say that arising from oneself, others, or both, and arising without a cause? These wrong views are the cause of ruin, and even good deeds will bring about undesirable results. Etc. (Tibetan: སོགས་ཀྵ, Sanskrit Devanagari: kṣa, Sanskrit Romanization: kṣa, Literal Chinese meaning: etc.) The image of a face arising on the surface of a stainless mirror, if it truly exists, does not depend on conditions, and how could it then become a place that can be destroyed again? Cause. Therefore, completely abandon relying on unreal conditions alone. If one analyzes well the nature of these existing things, the Holy One first said that even between extremely small particles there will be changes. If those existing things were real, why would wisdom not descend? Therefore, how could they abide in the distinctions of parts? If it is said that some qualities of the precious mind appear in various ways, therefore, the Holy One also said that this is called an instant, an extremely small moment. What is called instant after instant is extremely ignorant in subtle places, and how can they not be seen in the beginning, middle, and end? Thus, these things, including both outer and inner, are not one, and therefore their nature is not a collection of many. Objects that are separate from these cannot be seen by the eye of wisdom. Therefore, the Holy One said that these are free from the two extremes. Likewise, it is clearly contradictory to see one giving rise to another, the result of the extremely small depends on a cause that is not one, and it is certain that it appears as the manifest reality of beings. Likewise, everything such as one becoming not one is accompanied by harm. Since it is difficult to reverse the fact that all phenomena will arise and change again without exception, no one can say that only what exists can arise. If one says that something that does not exist arises, who would be afraid? Therefore, the wise have uprooted from the very beginning views such as arising from oneself. Thus, with your clear and stainless eye of wisdom, fully blooming, if you can understand this nature of dependent origination for a long time, then even the extremely subtle place of cowardice accumulated from beginningless existence will have nowhere to abide, and this is not what you see, who would be discouraged by this? Thus it was said. Iti Acarya Jetari Krti Shubham. Sanskrit Romanization: iti ācārya jetāri kṛti śubhaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: This is the work of Acarya Jetari, auspicious!)
