Those who perfectly maintain their precepts, delight in giving to sentient beings, as well as those who observe the upavasa vows, and those who have taken the three refuges, and those who are bound by the vows of a Bodhisattva, all those sentient beings, upon hearing the sound of the conch shell, will not turn back and will attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete Bodhi. After abandoning this life, they will be born in the Sukhavati realm, and in lifetime after lifetime, they will remember their previous lives. After reciting the mantra over sandalwood seven times, and fumigating in the garden of the Sangharama, or around the stupa, or within the Sangha, or among many people, or in the palace of the king, all those sentient beings who smell the fragrance there will completely perfect the body of the Buddha. By fumigating the Dharma robes, whoever wears them on their body, all their sins and obscurations will be completely destroyed. Merely falling on the body, one will abandon defilements, miserliness, and all faults. Merely wearing the clothes, one will control the entire world. After fumigating with one's own clothes and entering the king's palace, one will control the king, queen, and all retinue, becoming a great object of offering, and will also become the teacher of the entire world. Entering the Sangha of the noble Sangha, one will be worthy of being a great object of offering for all monks. Entering among many people, wealth will greatly increase, and one will be worthy of great offerings. And so on, extensively explaining the accomplishment of common activities. If fumigated at the four gates of the city, epidemics, conflicts, etc., will cease. If fumigated in a nomadic monastery, one will be liberated from the fear of wild animals and thieves, etc. If fumigated for all plagues, one will be liberated from them, showing inconceivable benefits. Furthermore, whoever relies on these pills, who always makes pills and bindus, all the Tathagatas will regard them as nagas. The empowerment of the noble Avalokiteshvara, for those who always study it, will always see the most supreme giving. The accumulation of merit will increase day by day. One will enjoy worldly happiness, and the next life will be very happy. And so on.
