Through habituation, the clinging to the reality of things, habitual tendencies will be abandoned, and one will be free from mind. By habituating to the absence of anything, even that will eventually be abandoned. When the object of examination is not found, then the absence of things is without support. How can it remain before the mind? When things and non-things do not remain before the mind, then there is no other aspect, and it is thoroughly pacified without an object of focus. As the Illusion Net states: Whoever does not know the objectless, does not know the nature of reality. Therefore, know the objectless of the destruction of things and non-things. Thus sayeth the Prasangika Madhyamaka. Whatever discursive thoughts arise, they should be like snow falling on a stone. The emptiness of consciousness is merely its own state. The emptiness of awareness is the certainty gained through view. Clear consciousness is defiled when it encounters objects and conditions. Clear awareness is like water and mercury falling on the ground, in a state of uninterrupted emptiness, unsoiled by objects and conditions. Whatever past, present, and future discursive thoughts arise, they are like images appearing on the surface of a clear mirror, appearing in the present but without inherent existence from the moment they appear. In the context of Tögal, inner awareness is like water. When sunlight shines on it, the light of the water scatters, and one sees the lamp. When the thigle is firmly stable, the winds and mind enter the central channel. The Commentary on the Treasury of Wish-Fulfilling Jewels states: In the world, false objects, unreal appearances, are considered delusions of the mind, like the consciousness of a dream. Appearances as objects are considered not to be delusions, like waking or the consciousness that grasps one moon. Therefore, blue is not the nature of mind, because it appears as an object. If there is no pervasion, is appearing as an object delusion or not delusion? If it is not delusion, then it is not mind, because all non-deluded objects grasp it as it is, so the appearance of an object is true as an object. If it is delusion, then it should not be mind, because the appearance of an object is false, and false is unreal, merely a negation of things, so there is no thing of mind. Thus it is said. One and different are not reasonable, because knowledge and appearance should not be separately true, because in an unawakened object, there is no nature of knowledge. The body of the aggregate of consciousness, etc.

Because it follows that it appears as death, and because it follows that the mind can see with the eyes and can be measured with a scale, and because it follows that mountains and trees, etc., in turn know themselves, because one knows them. If there is no pervasion, then the statement that mountains, etc., are one's own consciousness will collapse. Thus, in this way, those foolish ones who believe that appearances are mind, and who claim that all beings are one stream of consciousness, are refuted. We, on the other hand, in the appearance of delusion, do not believe that anything, even slightly, other than mind and mind itself, is true, because it appears as the dependent arising of how it appears, just like a dream. From the Dharani for Purifying Karmic Obscurations, it says: Whoever is overwhelmed by great compassion, whether it be a wild animal, a bird, or a non-human, if it is recited in the ear of the dying, that one will not go to the lower realms. And, even if one commits the five inexpiable sins, or abandons the sacred Dharma, or slanders the noble ones, if at the time of death one sees this dharani mantra written on the wall, all the karmic obscurations of that one will be exhausted, what need is there to mention reciting and reciting it? The Thus-Gone One himself will come and say: Son of good family, come to me! Thus, it teaches liberation through hearing and liberation through seeing. Furthermore, from the detailed ritual of the Amoghapasha, and the realization of Tara with Upward-Blazing Hair, etc., it shows the ritual of drawing images, and the way to accomplish vidyadharas by relying on pills and substances, etc., which are extremely vast. From the Sutra of the Remembrance of the Mother, it extensively speaks of liberation through wearing, and the liberation at the edge, which is known as the Wheel for Cutting the Continuum of Cities of Jowoje, etc. In particular, in the detailed ritual of the Amoghapasha, it says: Remembering the secret mantra Om (藏文: ཨོཾ,梵文天城体: ॐ,梵文罗马拟音: oṃ,汉语字面意思: 嗡) at the time of death, one will be born in the realm of Sukhavati. And so on, it extensively explains the benefits from one letter to ten letters, of which the ten letters are: Om Padma Tisha Vimala Hum Phat If one recites this ten-letter essence of the secret mantra a hundred thousand times, one will not regress, one will abide on the tenth bhumi, and gods and humans will say: This is the Thus-Gone One. And from the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment, one will not regress. And so on, and the essence ten
