The meaning of concealing and secrecy is explained through symbolic language. First, the teacher should first perform prayers and so on. To a very steadfast student, the teacher inquires about the mandala. Having taken refuge in the Three Jewels, possessing the naturally pure nature of body and so on, speaking gently and pleasantly, possessing compassion and other altruistic intentions, especially fond of listening and so on, delighting in generosity and other virtuous deeds, having a strong aspiration for the Great Vehicle, having faith in the secret teachings, always respecting the guru. Such a student should be accepted. Then, in order to accomplish all siddhis, the ritual of the mandala will be explained. With a compassionate and altruistic mind, one must first protect the earth. A place pure in mind, a place of disbelief should be abandoned. After guarding the pure land and so on, the wise should construct the mandala there. Then, in the north or east, the student should be prepared. Then, for the sake of empowerment, the teacher should perform prayers to the vases at the south, west, north, and east gates. Then, the wise student should offer to the guru. Including beloved sons and wives, relatives and male and female servants, land, houses and fields, pearls, clothes and gold, silver and copper and other wealth, and various grains. Mattresses, umbrellas and shoes, etc., offering all pleasing enjoyments, and finally even one's own body, should be presented as an offering to the guru. A student who does not respect the guru will undoubtedly be tormented by suffering. Therefore, the student should carefully offer all possessions. Together with the student, recite mantras, sing auspicious songs, and also dance. Even those who have committed the five heinous crimes and are sinful will be liberated by seeing the colored pigments. By descending the essence of the mantra, one will be reborn into a pure lineage. With the song called "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽), make Vajrayogini rejoice. With auspicious and pleasant music, sing a very meditative song. This is excerpted from the twenty-eighth chapter of the "Ritual" composed by Glorious Conduct Vow Feet. Black

In the (scripture) that gathers all accomplishments, Vajrapani Bodhisattva asked (the Buddha): O Bhagavan, how many kinds of joy are there? The Bhagavan replied: There are four kinds of joy, namely joy, supreme joy, co-emergent joy, and cessation joy. Be sure to distinguish between supreme joy and cessation joy. Thus it is said. Vajrapani Bodhisattva asked (the Buddha): O Bhagavan, how many channels are there in the body? What is the nature and origin of these channels? Please tell me the place where I wish to manifest. The Bhagavan taught: There are thirty-two channels in the body, among which the three main channels are: Rasana, Lalana, and Avadhuti. Rasana is the nature of wisdom, and Lalana is the nature of skillful means. The central place is Avadhuti, which is the nature of space that has abandoned the taker and the taken. Thus it is said. O Bhagavan, why is it called Mahamudra? The Bhagavan taught: The hand is it, the seal is it, the great is it, so it is Mahamudra. The nature of no-self, abandoning body, speech, and mind, like the center of the autumn sky, is the place of all perfections. All of samsara and nirvana are of one nature, having the form of great bliss, this is the name of Mahamudra. Thus it is said. There is no mantra recitation, no asceticism, no fire offering, no mandala, and no mandala lord, that itself is mantra recitation, asceticism, fire offering, that itself is the mandala and the mandala lord. Thus it is said. ༈ From the King of Tantras, Red Yamari: Unthinkable, and the thinker, that also does not exist anywhere, this is described here as inconceivable. It is the Svare of the tree of existence. Thus it is said. The heart area describes the life force and downward-moving air, the navel area is the equally abiding air, the throat area is the upward-moving air, and the pervasive air pervades the whole body. Thus it is said. Rasana and Lalana are located on the left and right sides respectively. Avadhuti is in the center, accompanying the co-emergent. Thus it is said. Having the nature of the form of a deity, again distinguishing through body, speech, and mind, through the three syllables themselves, holding them equally, make them enter into the heart. The syllable Om

Entering, the letter A (Tibetan: ཨཱ།, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal Chinese meaning: A) abides as such. The letter Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) also dispels. It should be practiced from the yogic instructions. By this called Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱ།, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal Chinese meaning: A) Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), That which is moving and unstable becomes stable. Thus it is said. ༈ །།ཝི། To encourage the meaning of all the tantras, in the treatise called "Glorious Secret Accomplishment" composed by the master Padmavajra, in the first chapter: Without things and pervasive, the state of supreme peace, liberated from worldly conduct. Whoever is constantly born in peace, the supreme Victor, the best of hosts are revered, free from contemplation. Whatever the state of transformation, the glorious and victorious body of the supreme purity enters with its inner nature. Not even the Buddhas can comprehend it, free from all stains, to that very one I prostrate. Thus it is said. The yoga of the completion stage, Should be meditated upon by one who possesses it. Otherwise, by one who is inferior to it, Accomplishment will not be attained. Thus it is said. Not descending mandalas, nor divine images, Bathing and cleansing are also the same, All these are not the truth, This alone is the truth. Thus it is said. Even having committed the five inexpiable sins, And having toiled in existence, If one possesses that, it will be accomplished, And the stainless state will be attained. Thus it is said. The distinction between actions and conduct, And in the collections of sutras and so on, The supremely pure, the only one, Exists in various forms. The aggregates In the precious vessel, By the distinctions of sentient beings' thoughts, That is hidden with effort, The Buddhas, the protectors, are thus established. The supreme bodhicitta is utterly pure, By the kindness of the feet of the supreme guru, One who consecrates oneself, That should be known with effort. Then, either engage in conduct, Or stay at home and meditate. Thus it is said. The guru and the vajra holder, Whoever sees them as inseparable, Possessing the characteristics of gathering accomplishments, That very one will surely attain it here. Thus it is said. Even without empowerment and subsequent permission, Disciples are gathered, Having rejoiced upon seeing the scriptures, The secret mantra is taken by oneself. Thus it is said. In this called Glorious Guhyasamaja, All discriminations are completely abandoned, By the yoga of the completion stage, Accomplishment will be attained in this very life. Glorious Guhyasamaja
