Initially, thinking it is a mountain, this is because ordinary people cannot help but generate thoughts. However, in the second moment, due to the completion of the power of discernment that examines the nature of the mountain, the conceptual thought of the mountain naturally vanishes without a trace. At that time, even if the appearance of the mountain does not cease, becoming accustomed to the nature of non-attachment, the arising and liberation are simultaneously purified, the appearance and mind are integrated, and it is the unerring path of the Great Perfection of self-nature. Rigdzin Garab Dorje said, "At the time of arising," etc. This is the key to liberation in the Bardo of Dharmata. Awareness, emptiness, and transparency, transcending thought and expression, abide in the self-nature of original purity, therefore, the ultimate liberation is direct seeing (the present), and one must recognize self-nature on oneself. One must make a decision on what is. One must have confidence in liberation. Looking outward, the appearance of self-nature is infinite, but looking inward, there is nothing. Therefore, the clinging of thinking "nothing" also naturally dissolves, and the naked self-nature without conceptual thought is the key to driving a stake into the ground of original liberation. No matter how compassion enters the object, it does not cut off its trace. Do not suppress inward. By staying right where it arises, the awareness of inner, outer, and intermediate is transparent, and the appearance of the Bardo is naturally purified into the radiance of awareness, recognizing that liberation is the key to direct seeing (the present), the essence of the heart. Thus said. Profound! Furthermore, in the verses of "Abiding in the Nature of Vajra," it says: "Good thoughts, bad thoughts, and neutral thoughts, do not fall to any side, there is no teacher to distinguish arising and liberation. If awareness does not lose its self-possession, then there is no need for anything more superior than this." Thus said. Furthermore, the Omniscient Oral Transmission says: In essence, there is no good or bad, increase or decrease, no gain or loss, however, it is only the conceptual thought of ability that distinguishes Samsara and Nirvana, and deceives practitioners, therefore, its nature is explained in detail. That is also said from the perspective of gradual arising. There are three ways to liberate conceptual thought, which is the view held by the followers of Panchen Vimalamitra. Thus, liberating by recognizing conceptual thought is like liberating by meeting someone you knew before. If conceptual thought liberates itself, it liberates like a snake's knot untying. Conceptual thought liberates into Dharmakaya without benefit or harm. Using three different metaphors to explain, the first is: When awareness abides in the single-pointedness of clarity and emptiness, conceptual thought suddenly arises, this is awareness, that is, the formless deity and

The co-emergent innate wisdom that is present from the moment of birth. It has two aspects: the conceptual thought of what is seen and the memory of the seer. Therefore, dualistic grasping is the root of samsara, the source of suffering, and the obstacle on the paths and bhumis. Therefore, recognizing it whether it abides or moves, when this becomes the embodiment of realization, it is a great treasure. Thus it is said. Secondly, if one knows how to maintain it without attachment, then the grasping of what is seen and the seer will cease, and one will achieve single-pointed samadhi. Without needing to look, the conceptual thought itself recognizes itself and becomes self-liberated, like the unraveling of a snake's knot. This is its name. In terms of Buddhist terminology, this is the subsequent attainment with characteristics, held by skillful means. Although other vehicles consider this to be conditioned, Dzogchen explains that the very consciousness of the knower is confusion and obscuration. They believe that there is a subtle consciousness of dualistic appearance. Therefore, recognizing it whether it abides or moves, if a yogi whose realization has become the embodiment of realization examines this, he will find that there is a very subtle distinction. Therefore, this is not the view of the ultimate yoga either. Thus it is said. The third way of liberation is that conceptual thoughts are liberated without benefit or harm, like a thief in an empty house. This itself is the path of the lord of yoga. Just as even if a thief enters an empty house, the thief will not gain anything. The empty house will not lose anything, so it is like being completely beyond the nature of gain and loss. Here, the nature of awareness is clear and unobstructed, free from the obscuration of conceptual thought, and does not lose its original state. This itself is the heart essence of meditation, or the innate awareness. No matter how the play of conceptual thoughts moves, because the consciousness of the observer is pure, there is no place of arising, and no one who arises. In the naked emptiness of awareness, beyond thought, in the vast expanse, one attains the throne of the unchanging king of the Dharmakaya. Therefore, the explanation that conceptual thoughts do not benefit or harm is established. Thus it is said. "Cutting Through Mistakes" says: Not understanding that maintaining the continuity of rigpa refers to this very ordinary consciousness, the present awareness, which is not defiled by any good or bad, but instead grasping at mundane conceptual thoughts as self-existing, is a mistake. Thus it is said. The present awareness, not coarse and not incomplete, this is the antidote for the practitioner, not being
