According to the oral tradition, later, Kunmkhyen Rongpo, together with Panchen Nagrin, newly revised the Chinese texts, praised them in three ways, and established their regularity through commentaries. From then on, documents and so on spread widely, but now it seems to have declined. However, through the activities of the Bodhisattvas, the root tantras are still seen to flourish and develop today. The direct teachings of the first turning of the wheel, which explain the stages of emptiness, such as the Six Collections of Reasoning of Madhyamaka, etc., were all established as Svatantrika by the early Tibetans, while Pa tshab lo tsā ba established the Prasangika school. The stages of hidden meaning and manifest realization, the tradition of teaching the Abhisamayalankara, were spread by Rngog Lo chen po after hearing it from Pandita one million, etc. From the Abhidhamma Pitaka of the last turning of the wheel, the explanation of the Abhidharmakosha, composed in verses, appeared during the early translation period, but was interrupted in the middle. Later, Pandita Smriti established the tradition of teaching and listening in Kham (khams), and it was propagated from that lineage. In the Abhidharmakosha, there are explanations of the realms, explanations of the faculties, explanations of the world, explanations of actions, explanations of subtle differences, explanations of the path and the individual, explanations of wisdom, and explanations of meditative absorptions, totaling eight aspects. The explanation of the Mahayana Abhidhamma did not appear much. In particular, the Secret Mantra Vajrayana, in accordance with the four distinctions of desire, is explained as the four: Kriya, Charya, Yoga, and Anuttarayoga. Among these, the explanations of the first two did not flourish much in Tibet. The commentaries on the Yoga Tantras were transmitted from Skor Lo chen Rin chen bzang po, etc., and were brought to prominence by the scholar-accomplished Buton Rinpoche. In Anuttarayoga, the father tantras include the Yamantaka cycle and Guhyasamaja, and the mother tantras include Hevajra and Chakrasamvara, etc., as well as the stages of maturation and liberation of Kalachakra, etc., which are difficult to explain and are inconsistent with the teachings of non-duality or other tantras, were translated and explained by many translators such as Mar, Dpyal, 'Brok, Bshos, Mal, and Rwa Lo, as well as Gyi and Gyo, and were thus established and became extremely prosperous. In short, to summarize, the characteristics of the Buddha's words are, as stated in the Uttaratantra: "Whatever is meaningful and related to the Dharma, proclaims the abandonment of afflictions in all three realms, and speaks of the benefits of peace, that is the speech of the sages, and the opposite is not." That is to say, the meaning of what is said has great significance.

Now, closely related to the stainless Dharma. It eliminates the afflictions of the three realms to be abandoned. It demonstrates the benefits of the antidote, peaceful Nirvana, thus possessing four characteristics of speech. The source is the Buddha and the Noble Ones. The etymological explanation is "Subhāṣita" (Tibetan: སུ་བྷ་ཥི་ཏ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सुभाषित, Sanskrit Romanization: subhāṣita, literal Chinese meaning: well-spoken), meaning well-spoken. In terms of classification, from the perspective of time, there are three turnings of the Dharma wheel. From the perspective of what is expressed, there are two: the provisional and the ultimate truth, the interpretable and the definitive. From the perspective of the expression, there are twelve categories of scriptures. From the perspective of antidotes, the Sutras counteract doubt, the Vinaya counteracts attachment to extremes, and the Abhidharma counteracts the conceit of one's own view. From the perspective of those to be tamed, there are the Lesser Vehicle and the Greater Vehicle, for those who are inclined towards the inferior and the vast. From the perspective of the source, there are three: spoken by the Buddha, permitted by the Buddha, and blessed by the Buddha. The latter can also be divided into blessings of body, speech, and mind. Mind can be further divided into mind-samadhi, mind-compassion, and mind-blessing through the power of truth. A treatise refers to anything that is solely the work of the Victorious Teacher, spoken by someone without mental distraction, and related to the path of attaining liberation, which should be accepted with reverence like the teachings of a sage. As it is said, what is spoken is solely the work of the Victorious Buddha Teacher, not the Teacher's own creation. The characteristics of the explainer are that they understand the Dharma and its meaning well, and are free from distorted distractions such as attachment to gain and honor. The characteristic of the result is that it is for the sake of attaining the unsurpassed liberation of Nirvana, and the characteristic of the method is that it is in accordance with the path that leads to it, thus possessing four qualities, which are the characteristics of a treatise. Its source is the words of Bodhisattvas, Noble Ones, and even ordinary beings. The etymological explanation is "Shastra" (Tibetan: ཤཱསྟ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: शास्त्र, Sanskrit Romanization: śāstra, literal Chinese meaning: treatise), meaning possessing the two qualities of taming and protecting. In terms of classification, from the perspective of superior and inferior, there are treatises that are meaningless, with inverted meanings, possessed by demons, evil, deceitful, without love, abandoning suffering, diligent in listening, debating, and practicing. They are divided into those that are free from six faults and possess three qualities, thus divided into nine. From the perspective of function, there are three: collecting vast Buddha-words, distinguishing profound meanings, and integrating confused points. From the perspective of what is expressed, there are three: how many, how, and indicating the path to liberation and omniscience. From the perspective of what is spoken, there is the general Buddha-word.
