Abiding is the arising of the mind in accordance with Bodhi, which is called the abiding Bodhicitta. That is to say, the mind that arises from the way of not being born from that and the way of not being objectified is the Bodhicitta. So it is said. The third is, even if it is understood in this way, it does not only abide in non-discrimination, but observes all sentient beings, and in the realm of non-objectification, it is free from all elaborations. For the state of fruition obtained by the self of the signless Bodhi, the mind thinks that all sentient beings should be placed in this, and the arising of such Bodhicitta is the rising mind. That is to say, abiding in the unsurpassed unconditioned aggregate of morality praised by the Tathagata, and practicing the conditioned morality with the complete possession of skillful means and wisdom. So it is said. These three characteristics are established above the first ground, and in the state of ordinary people, it is only in accordance with it. However, it can be established as the ultimate truth of one's own place. The second is divided into two. The first is that there are fourteen root downfalls in the monastic aspect. The sutra says: Thereafter, the Bodhisattva should return from killing, not giving, and sexual misconduct. Return from lying, harsh speech, divisive speech, and idle speech. Return from greed, malice, and wrong views. Therefore, the substance of the first nine is that if one is completely controlled by evil places and acts, one will fall from the path of virtue, and the tenth is called the root downfall because it cuts off the roots of virtue. Also, the two teachings of doctrine and realization, abandoning the three speakers of Dharma without respect (tenth), abandoning the Bodhicitta, being stingy and miserly (thirteenth), and doing things that are harmful to the realm of sentient beings. These four are called the root of downfall. So it is said. The second is in the lay aspect. The sutra says: Among them, killing, not giving, sexual misconduct, lying, and wrong views should be completely abandoned. After the lay Bodhisattva has taken the four or five precepts, he should study the precepts as they are taught, and with faith, remember the past Tathagatas.

One should follow and learn. Thus it is said. The four root downfalls are common, therefore here they are nine. Purification should be done according to the previous tantras, and especially in the tantras it says, "If you bind the mudra of the three samayas and recite the mantra three times, then the broken samayas and so on will be restored." Thus it is said. Secondly, the practice of entering internally: the former is called external because the practitioner can enter even when not in meditative equipoise, but here it is not like that, so it is internal. There are two types: with signs and without signs. The first one: first, guarding oneself and the place, etc., goes first, so the first letter meditates on the emptiness of the mind of enlightenment. The second letter arises as the sound of mantra. The first basis is to generate one's own body as the body of the Buddha, and bless it with mantras and mudras, etc. The second basis is to generate the body of the Buddha in front, and place the mantra garland on the moon disc in the heart, and stabilize the samadhi on it. That is also as the tantra says: "The letter is the mind of enlightenment, the second is called sound, the basis is to place one's own deity, at the place of one's own body, the second basis is the complete Buddha, the two feet should be known as supreme, the pure moon disc, the mantra holder should think of residing there, the letters are in order, well placed in the middle of it." Thus it is said. The second is the body, the six aggregates of consciousness, and the consciousness of the mind's grasping and apprehended objects. These three are like illusions in order, without arising in ultimate truth, and manifest the signless samadhi through the habit of hearing, thinking, and meditating. Therefore, at all times, one should always remember emptiness. Thus it is said. These are placed as internal entry because they can be practiced even when in meditative equipoise. Secondly, the practice of application to please the secret mantra, there are two types of recitation and accomplishment with signs and without signs. In the first one, it also says: "Life is said to be wind, effort is called mindfulness, having meditated on these two, one should first practice the approach well." Thus, as said in the one with signs, as said before, through the door of possessing four limbs, holding life and effort, reciting the number of approach one hundred thousand, is external. Generate oneself as the body of Buddha Shakyamuni, oneself
