What one realizes is: accumulating vast collections of merit and wisdom, one can generate the path of seeing, the wisdom that does not conceptualize phenomena, after the supreme Dharma of the world and beyond. In the "Dispelling Errors," it says: Even if one has faith in the Vajrayana but is not mature, even if one meditates on the profound, the result is only bad rebirths. The Buddha said that one cannot see the face of the supreme deity, therefore, please receive empowerment from the supreme Lama. Having received empowerment, seeking profound instructions, even if one searches all over the earth, it is in vain. The beneficial key is the instructions and vows; without these, it is like a dilapidated house with rotten foundations. If one has matured well and keeps the vows, even without relying on the profound instructions of the two stages, one can achieve enlightenment in sixteen lifetimes. This is said to benefit the root of beings. Although I have little learning and lack the eye of wisdom, because I have seen the well-spoken words in the stainless tantras, I fold my hands and request everyone: please receive empowerment and keep the vows! Thus it is said. If we summarize the teachings of the Mind-Only school, it is: if something benefits both this life and the next, and brings both happiness, then do it. If it does not benefit and does not bring happiness, then do not do it. Even if it does not benefit but brings happiness, then do it. Even if it brings happiness but does not benefit, then do not do it. Furthermore, the absence of transgressions and the image of transgressions of a Bodhisattva should be examined, and the form of transgressions and non-transgressions should be distinguished. If one wonders what these are, it is: when the vows of discipline and the vows of gathering virtuous dharmas are both present, one should mainly practice gathering virtuous dharmas. When both gathering virtuous dharmas and benefiting sentient beings are present, one should mainly practice benefiting sentient beings. Furthermore, if one sees that other sentient beings are about to engage in great evils such as the five heinous crimes, and if there is no other way to prevent it, even if one commits evil and falls into the lower realms, one should surpass this sin and kill them in order to prevent them from committing evil. Like the compassionate captain, merit will increase. If one kills when there is another way, it is like being permissive when there is a forceful ritual, and one will commit a fault. If there is no other way but one does not prevent it, then it is the image of no transgression. If one prevents it, then it is the image of transgression. If there is absolutely no object, and one does not prevent it, then it is no transgression. If one does it when there is clearly no object, then it is a transgression. Similarly, one should understand the following situations as well.

Furthermore, if someone asks whether it is contradictory to say that a person's mindstream possesses the three vows of individual liberation, bodhisattva, and vidyādhara, the meaning is as follows: Generally, the nature of individual liberation is to refrain from all actions that harm others. On top of that, wanting to benefit others and engaging in it is the bodhisattva vow. And a vidyādhara is a vidyādhara. Among them, there are two types of individual liberation vows: the individual liberation vow of a śrāvaka and the individual liberation vow of a bodhisattva. Here, the bodhisattva's individual liberation vow can serve as the basis for both obtaining and abiding in the vows. The former is not the case. Therefore, the intention of the Vajrasekhara Sutra is the bodhisattva's individual liberation vow. Then, is there another ritual for taking the bodhisattva's individual liberation vow? Or is it that the ritual for taking the individual liberation vow itself is sufficient? If one has already obtained the individual liberation vow and later obtains the bodhisattva vow, the previous vow transforms into the bodhisattva vow. If one has not obtained it previously, then at the time of generating the bodhisattva aspiration, one obtains the bodhisattva's individual liberation vow. So it is said. Here, if one commits a major transgression, one should retake the vows as before, or in front of a statue of the Tathagata. If one commits a medium transgression, it becomes an offense of wrong-doing, and one needs to confess and retake the vows in front of three people, such as a lama or khenpo. Minor transgressions are confessed in front of one person. The thirty-six wrong-doings are divided into two types: with afflictions and without afflictions. The former needs to be confessed in front of one person. For the latter, one needs to feel ashamed, know shame, be gentle, peaceful, and have the intention not to do it again in the future. So it is said. The snow mountain and Lake Manasarovar mentioned in the three vows, as well as the great outer continents mentioned in the tantras, and the classification of the three places of Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya) are from the Mani Dzala Kan. First, according to the outsiders (Hindus), the snow mountain covers all the oceans between east and west. Although Lake Manasarovar is not explicitly mentioned, it is clear that they consider the Ganges to be its substitute. There, King Bhagiratha brought down the Ganges.
