There is no "ba". There is no past, acceptance, or rejection. There is no emptiness or non-emptiness of things. Constant and nameless, there are no letters. There are no sounds or words, no beginning or end. It transcends the realm of speech, thought, and expression. When examined from the aspect of clarity, there is awareness and clarity. There are body, wisdom, and qualities. There are activities, pure lands, and palaces. There is a complete assembly of lord and retinue. There is no effort or accomplishment, and it is not fabricated. It naturally abides in great spontaneity. Self-awareness is the king of views. It is like the sky. Thus, it was said during the time of viewing like the sky. Also, from the context of meditating like the sun and moon, Vajravarahi said: The instruction on meditation is as follows: Meditating on existence is mistaken as permanence. Meditating on non-existence is mistaken as annihilation. If placed in neither existence nor non-existence, it is mistaken as a state of dullness and sinking. The definite meditation is as follows: The essence of awareness is without alteration or corruption. Let it abide in its natural state. There are three examples of the wise: The body is the seven dharmas of Vairochana. Speech is silent, abiding in stillness. The key point of mind, this ordinary awareness, without alteration or corruption, let it relax in its own state. There are seven instructions for that: First, knowing the nature of reality. Second, abiding in its own state. Third, directly cutting through. Fourth, grasping one's own ground. Fifth, without change. Sixth, not becoming an obstacle. Seventh, becoming manifest. In this, without interruption, when diligently practiced, signs of profound dharmata will arise. At that time, the fruits will be obtained gradually. Thus it was said. Furthermore, regarding the fruit stage of the previously quoted "Oral Transmission of the Exact Meaning, Without Letters, When Dying, Buddhahood, Abandoning the Illusory Body": Third, showing the way to accomplish the ultimate fruit has three aspects: For those of superior faculties, meeting with the secret path of Vajrasattva, they attain Buddhahood in one lifetime, one body. Recognition and realization are simultaneous. The cessation of breath and Buddhahood are simultaneous. Buddhahood and the arising of compassion are simultaneous. Without needing to calculate the liberation in the moment of the bardo, at the time of the vast liberation of the body, from the precious secret passage, one becomes enlightened into the dharmakaya Buddha. In the tantra it says: Like a lion leaping, cutting through the earth. With one step, one goes beyond to the other shore. Thus it was said. Those of middling faculties, recognizing the wisdom of the bardo, with the five perfections and the complete perfections.
