When the nuns righteously rebuke, if they admonish the nuns with desire and so on, and do not give up the matter in the three statements of request, it will become a residue of strife. Nuns, laywomen, heretics, novices, and nuns gather together and live in promiscuity, licentiousness, playfulness, and as a cause of bodily roughness. For the nuns who live here, do not live too closely. If they do not listen to such admonitions, not giving up on the third of the four acts of admonition, exhortation, and request, it is a residue of dependence on women. When nuns gather with women and then separate and live separately, if any nun knowingly says there: Sisters, do not live separately. If you two live separately, good Dharma will decrease and not increase. You two should gather and live together.
