Like a mirage-like tree, Consciousness is said to be like an illusion, Such an explanation of the aggregates, Is spoken to the Bodhisattvas. Furthermore, coarse form is not produced by sense consciousness, It is beyond the senses. If you say that aggregation produces them, Then that collection is also not desired. When divided by directional distinctions, Divisions are also seen in atoms. If something is examined by parts, How can atoms be established there? etc., refuting the aggregates. Having abided in the Mind-Only position, Those with great fortune should also abandon that. Thus it is said. All these are only mind, What did the Thus-Gone One teach? It is to make children afraid, Therefore, it is for abandonment, not the reality itself. Thus it is said. The Yogic practitioners, Having mastered their own minds, Having transformed the basis, the pure mind, Is said to be the object of individual self-awareness. Whatever is past, that is no more, Whatever is future, that is not yet obtained, Because of abiding, abiding is transformed, Where is the present in the present? etc. Likewise, the Alaya consciousness, Is neither true nor untrue, thus it abides, Whenever it moves and changes, At that time, it grasps conditioned existence. Thus it is said. Knowing understands the knowable, Without the knowable, there is no knowing. Thus, knowable and knowing, Why not desire to say that both are nonexistent? Mind is only a name, There is nothing else apart from the name. Only in the name, view the Mind-Only, The name is also without inherent existence. Inwardly or likewise outwardly, Or even in the middle of the two, The Victorious Ones have not found the mind, Therefore, mind is of an illusory nature. Distinctions of color and shape, Or the grasped and the grasper, Male, female, and neuter, etc., The essence of mind does not abide. In short, the Buddhas, Have not seen and will not see, Having no inherent existence, what kind of inherent existence, How could they see? The name "thing" is conceptual thought, Without conceptual thought is emptiness. Where conceptual thought appears, How can emptiness be there? The mind of grasper and grasped, Why have the Thus-Gone Ones not seen? Where there is grasper and grasped, There is definitely no enlightenment there. Without characteristics and without birth, This wheel of twelve links, This wheel revolves in the path of existence, Revolving in the path of existence.
