Furthermore, what need is there to say that the mantras spoken by the Victorious One will be accomplished? Moreover, one who delights in wisdom and is free from distraction, who is pure and unattached, who is knowledgeable and cautious, who is of noble lineage, steadfast and brave, who is loving, joyful to behold, and who knows how to discern dharma from non-dharma—for such a one, accomplishment is not difficult to attain. Furthermore, if one is afflicted by hunger and thirst, one cannot rely on the meaning of the mantra. If one eats too much or too little, one will not be able to attain the mantras. Therefore, the Sage of the Shakyas said, "Beings subsist on food." This was spoken to embodied beings. Furthermore, those who dwell in the realm of form partake of the food of meditative absorption. The gods of the formless realm partake of the fruit of meditative stabilization. Beings in the intermediate state of existence are proclaimed to partake of the food of odors. Likewise, beings in the desire realm partake of various foods. Therefore, the Sage of the Shakyas spoke of the cause of karma, saying, "Beings subsist on food." This was proclaimed to all. Furthermore, for one whose conduct is completely pure, who is virtuous and practices celibacy, and whose consumption of food is moderate, accomplishment is not difficult to attain. Furthermore, the five purifications that are praised in all the tantras are taught: the purification and non-purification of the body, and the purification of the mind. The fourth is the purification of truth, abandoning falsehood. The fifth is said to be the purification of water. Furthermore, if one speaks falsely, or speaks wrongly out of ignorance, deceiving beings, how can such a one attain mantra accomplishment? Furthermore, one should engage in activities that possess the meaning of mantra and tantra, and that have results. An activity that has been started should be continued, but an activity that is meaningless should not be started. Furthermore, the mantra practitioner should rest at the end of the recitation, and remain seated for as long as possible. When the time for recitation arrives, one should recite. Furthermore, if in a dream one sees an auspicious dream, that is a dream that indicates results, and it indicates accomplishment. Furthermore, planting sorrowless trees is highly praised for the purpose of pacification. Furthermore, one should not be too dry or too wet, and one should not engage in meaningless activities. Furthermore, facing east accomplishes pacification, and facing north accomplishes increase. Furthermore, in activities of pacification and increase, the use of moist wood is highly praised. Furthermore, purity

Also, the activity of fire and likewise the image, if made in front of a cloth painting, then the mantras will be accomplished, this is what the Buddhas of the past have said. Thus it is said, those who commit the five inexpiable sins, behave improperly and are narrow-minded, and who engage in all evils, can be liberated merely by seeing the mandala of the All-Pervading Lord (Vishnu). Also, the dream of the first part of the night, know that it is caused by phlegm. The second one that appears is bile, which is the impurity that exists in the world. The third one, know that it is caused by wind. The fourth one is true. The first dream of phlegm, one always sees such scenes: houses of jewels and crystal, everywhere with strings of pearls, many mango trees, oneself sinking in the water. And so on, extensively explaining the dreams of the three faults. Earlier it was said, Buddhas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, if they dream of these, then the activities of the mantra practitioner will definitely be successful. And so on. Manjushri is nominally established, your name was made by the victors of the past, your name was established in this way, the Buddhas of the past, future, and present, do not be distracted, with a focused mind, your name in the retinue
