The oral instructions of the venerable and holy Lama, recorded as a draft, entitled "Ear Ornament of Joy for the Wise." The oral instructions of the venerable and holy Lama, recorded as a draft, entitled "Ear Ornament of Joy for the Wise." The oral instructions of the venerable and holy Lama, recorded as a draft, entitled "Ear Ornament of Joy for the Wise," this concludes. Namo Vibhu Vajra Dhara Manjghoshananda Mati Sara Jana Hapa Mya Sharda Swaraya. Firstly, in the context of the Hearers' Vehicle, if we briefly elaborate on the meaning of the sixteen aspects, first, regarding the nature of the Truth of Suffering: the five aggregates are associated with the three sufferings, therefore the body, speech, and mind are all uncomfortable. The etymological explanation is "Khastum," meaning an evil destination, which is the Truth. Classification: divided into four types, including self-nature. First, there are three types of suffering: in the contaminated aggregates, those that are pleasing are the suffering of change, which humans experience, exemplified by the changes in happiness and joy from youth to old age. The suffering of birth is like extracting something from a cataract. The suffering of old age is like a withered tree. The suffering of sickness is like drinking poison. The suffering of death is like entering darkness. The fear of encountering enemies is like a bird being chased by a hawk. The fear of separation from loved ones is like an only child nearing death. Having possessions but being unable to sustain life is like an old woman searching for livestock. Not having possessions but being unable to find them is like a hungry ghost searching for food, these are the eight sufferings. Similarly, the gods are represented by decline. The suffering of suffering is unpleasant things. Like boils appearing on top of leprosy. Or for animals, on top of being foolish, they are burdened, milked, plucked, and killed for their flesh and blood. Pervasive suffering exists in all aggregates. Represented by being tormented by food, clothing, etc. Second, impermanence is divided into internal and external. External is further divided into two types: long-term, like seeing the bones of dead people in a cemetery. Short-term, like witnessing or hearing about sentient beings dying now. Internally, there are three certainties of death: the moon, once born, is certain to decline. Conditioned phenomena are certain to be impermanent. Life is certain to be impermanent from moment to moment. When death will occur is uncertain, there are three reasons: there are many causes of death. The body has no essence. Life has no leisure. There are three situations in which death cannot be prevented: friends and relatives cannot prevent it. Food, wealth, and enjoyment cannot prevent it.

Not abandoning, those who do not abandon their own bodies. The third is emptiness, contemplating and examining the meaning of all things being without inherent existence. The fourth is selflessness, which is realizing the selflessness of persons. The second is the nature of the truth of the origin of suffering, the root of suffering is the three poisons, etc. The definition is Samudaya (藏文,梵文天城体:समुदय,梵文罗马拟音:samudaya,汉语字面意思:Arising together), suffering arises from the nature of karma and afflictions, this is called origin. There are four types of classification, including the basis of classification itself. The first is, origin, relying on the cause of the three poisons, the suffering of the six realms arises. Second, there are five causes of sensual pleasures, and two faults of attachment to them. Desire, attachment, extreme greed, these three. The faults are, attachment to form is like a moth, attachment to sound is like a wild animal, attachment to smell is like a bee, attachment to taste is like a fish, attachment to touch is like an elephant. The third is condition, divided into past, future, and present three times. The fourth is birth, the cause is the arising of conceptual thought, the result is falling into the lower realms, divided into two types. The third is the nature of the truth of cessation, the emptiness of the pacification of all gross afflictions. The definition is Rodha (藏文,梵文天城体:रोध,梵文罗马拟音:rodha,汉语字面意思:Cessation), meaning to definitely cease all afflictions. There are four types of classification, including the basis of classification itself. The first is cessation, cessation because it ceases everything including suffering. The cause is cessation because it ceases afflictions. The condition is cessation because it ceases the conceptual thoughts that follow. The result is cessation because it ceases suffering. Cessation because it ceases the continuum of all conceptual thoughts. The Shravakas, through entering into cessation, hope to arise from the teachings of Maitreya. Second, there are five types of peace. The fire of afflictions is pacified, that is, in the place of Nirvana there are no three poisons, because the three poisons are eradicated from the root. The fire of faults is pacified, that is, in the place of Nirvana, all the sufferings of samsara are pacified, because all the faults of abiding in samsara are pacified. The fire of enjoyment is pacified, that is, in the place of Nirvana, there is no suffering of formation, there is no suffering of food and drink. The fire of conduct is pacified, that is, there is no discomfort in all walking, sleeping, sitting, and lying down. The fire of feeling is pacified, all three realms do not go beyond the three feelings, feeling pleasure.
