One is called "-pa." Thus, there are eight liberations. The fourth category includes the samadhi of the four dhyanas of the form realm, the four formless samadhis, and the samadhi of cessation, which are the nine samadhis of gradual abiding. The fifth is the ten all-encompassing spheres: earth, water, fire, wind, blue, yellow, red, white, infinite space, and infinite consciousness. The sixth category includes two aspects: internally perceiving consciousness as having form and individually contemplating all external forms as small and large, while subduing them. There are two aspects of internally perceiving formlessness, individually contemplating external forms as small and large, while subduing them, making a total of four. Only those with internal formlessness subdue and see the four colors: blue, yellow, red, and white, which are four aspects. In short, for those with shared karma, the four elements appear as four colors. By gaining power over their cessation, they are made invisible. The samadhi that makes all realms appear only like gold, or merely appear, or completely disappear, is the eight forms of overcoming perceptions. The seventh is the samadhi that eradicates the stream of afflictive enemies belonging to others' minds, which is freedom from afflictions. The eighth is being free from all elaborations of signs, and although not separated from such nature, it destroys the attachment and so on of those who perceive elaborations of signs as objects of taming, and it dispels doubts. By accomplishing the aspiration, the wisdom of the Tathagata engages in the benefit of beings as long as samsara exists, and even until liberation, that wisdom engages with sentient beings, which is knowing through aspiration. The ninth is seeing all the forms of beings who have died and been reborn, no matter how far or near from the present body, which is the divine eye. Hearing and understanding various sounds, languages, and symbols is the divine ear. Knowing the thoughts and the magnitude of the tendencies of sentient beings is knowing the variety of minds. And burning and flying.
