The inexhaustible adornment wheel of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the Tathagata, a nectar for the ears of the wise. The inexhaustible adornment wheel of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the Tathagata, a nectar for the ears of the wise. The inexhaustible adornment wheel of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the Tathagata, called "Nectar for the Ears of the Wise," resides herein. Om Swasti Siddham. The glory of the spring of the flower of qualities, attached to the pillar of incense smoke, the stamen of the all-knowing one, grant the nectar of supreme auspiciousness. The body, speech, and mind of the Sugata, the inexhaustible qualities and activities, from the adornment wheel, this speech pleases the ears of the wise. Wherein, the qualities of the complete Buddhas, where the accumulation of merit of samsara and nirvana blazes as one, cannot be enumerated even by those who reside in the stage of learning, what need is there to mention the limited intelligence of ordinary beings? Thus, for now, relying solely on my own faith, I will speak briefly in five parts: First, the qualities of the body, the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks. The explanation of this is divided into five: the cause of accomplishment, the manner of accomplishment, the definite number of what is accomplished, the meaning of those terms, and the manner in which it excels others. First, like this, the merit arising from the cause of the Pratyekabuddhas and Shravakas, learners and non-learners, and the merit arising from the happiness of all sentient beings in the world, ten times that is one pore, one hundred times the merit that accomplishes all pores is one minor mark, one hundred times that which accomplishes that is one major mark, one thousand times that which accomplishes that is the urna hair, one hundred thousand times that which accomplishes that is the invisible crown protuberance, as it is said. Specifically, the cause of accomplishing the major marks, in the commentary on the Paramitas, "Don Sal," following the Middle Mother, in the past, during the time of the path of learning, welcoming and sending off the lama and giving service, etc., the hands and feet are marked with wheels, and so on, it is said. The noble "Garland of Jewels" also speaks of it as being mostly the same as the former.

Arya Asanga, following the "Chapter on Marks" in the Bodhisattvabhumi, attained the extremely stable feet because of dwelling exceedingly in ethics, asceticism, patience, and generosity. And so forth, there are very extensive explanations of this. In the Bhadrakalpika Sutra, it says that the parts of the wheel mark, the hands and feet adorned with wheels, the spokes not intermingling, not stained by the power of desire, adorned with auspicious marks such as vases and swastikas, the wheel radiating light, emitting various lights, and successively explaining that the six perfections, such as giving, are the result, and using this as an example, matching each mark with (the six perfections), and so on, are limitless. Secondly, in general, the main imprint of accumulating the collections of merit associated with the Perfection of Wisdom, and in particular, the causes for the accomplishment of each mark, are all produced from cultivating familiarity over three countless eons, therefore it is an inconceivable place. Thirdly, in the Abhisamayalankara, following the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra and the Sutra Requested by the Jewel Daughter, the counting methods are slightly different, and in the Bodhisattvabhumi, mostly following the Abhisamayalankara, and so on, although there are many different ways of explaining in the sutras and treatises, the secret of the Tathagata is an inconceivable place, therefore it can manifest in any form, so they are not contradictory to each other. Here, for the time being, following the former, summarizing the recognition of each into the essence, there are two parts: explaining the thirty-two major marks and the recognition of the eighty minor marks. First, on the surface of the palms and soles of the feet, there are raised patterns of golden wheels with a thousand spokes, the divisions are very clear, therefore having hands and feet marked with wheels (one of the thirty-two marks) 1; like the belly of a turtle, the two soles of the feet have no unfilled gaps, therefore having flat soles (one of the thirty-two marks) 2; the twenty fingers of the hands and feet, starting from the first phalanx, there are no gaps between the fingers, and like the king of swans, they are connected by a web of skin that can accommodate ornaments such as finger rings, therefore having webbed fingers (one of the thirty-two marks) 3; all hands and feet are tender
