Khyenpa Konchok Lhundrup said, "The basis for consecration, the teacher, the place and time, offerings and auspicious rituals, are the six aspects." To align with this outline, I will present a brief explanation. The first general topic: What is the basis for consecration? It is the basis of the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata, complete with all characteristics. As stated in the Root Tantra: "The body image is endowed with characteristics, possessing peace and so on, the size is proportionate and excellent, such should be consecrated." This verse directly points to the body image, and implicitly establishes that the speech support and others should also be consecrated. Therefore, the main basis for consecration here is the support of the blessings of the Sugata, divided into three supports: body, speech, and mind. This is the division. For example, a stupa, as a mind support, can be further divided into three supports: Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. The Dharmakaya support, when a specific name is given to a general category, is known as a stupa. Moreover, in this precious teaching of the fourth guide of the Fortunate Aeon, among the three supports of the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata, the support that appears first for the benefit of beings can also be internally divided into: spontaneously accomplished, supreme, blessed, accomplishment-arising, and the stupas of various vehicles, approximately five types. The first type, from the Longchen Lama: "On the foundation of the vast four continents, stacking the terraces of the eight mountains, adorned with great tree vases, is where the body relics of the teacher appear." This means the four continents are the foundation, the seven golden mountains and Mount Meru are the terraces, and the trees of complete gathering are the vases. These together are described as the outer vessel stupa. Furthermore, the same text states: "On the foundation of the all-pervading Alaya consciousness, erecting the pillars of the eight consciousnesses, having the terraces of the outer five senses, wrapped in the vase of the great self, is the naturally moving body relic." This means the Alaya consciousness is the foundation, the eight aggregates of consciousness are the pillars, the five senses are the terraces, and the consciousness of the main mind and the root of mind are the vases. These combined are described as the inner essence stupa. And the Vajra arrangement ofརྒྱ

Furthermore, it says, "In the diagram of the foundation of the desire realm, the form realm has a thousand-tiered layer, the formless realm has a vase-like support with a vase, and the great stupa constantly abides." Thus, the six realms of the desire realm are the foundation, the seventeen abodes of the form realm are the layers, and the four formless births are the vase. The three realms are explained as a stupa. Similarly, the great scholar Smriti explained that all containers and essences combined are a stupa. Secondly, the Tantra of Great Vehicle Empowerment says, "The result arising from immeasurable inconceivable things, in the east, Maitreya Vajra is stacked, in the south, compassion jewel is stacked, in the west, joy lotus is stacked, in the north, equanimity swastika is stacked, self-arisen precious stacked." Thus, in the east, Videha is the essence of immeasurable Maitreya, and the stupa made of many stacked vajras, etc., the essence of the four immeasurables is the four stupas. Thirdly, the Tantra of the Wheel Arising says, "The blessings of the eight parts of the relics appear in the four continents." Thus, in the east, Videha has Maitreya, merit, and strength, and ultimately the two of good fortune, Yungdrung, and realization. In the south, Jambudvipa has the two of compassion emanation and spontaneous accomplishment. In the west, Godaniya has the two stupas of unparalleled inconceivable and marvelous fame Dharmadhatu. In the north, Uttarakuru has the two stupas of virtue, precious stacked, and the Tara of the three realms, happiness, and prosperity. These eight reside there. Fourthly, the Tantra of Supreme Nectar says, "The great mother, the guardian of taste, has established eight great mothers. Their great places of support are also established as eight stupas." Thus, in Magadha, there is Delightful Maker, in Simhala, there is Mount Tala, in Nepal, there is Bird Throne Khashor, in the island of Simha, there is Geudo Shan, in Li country, there is Goma Sala Gandha, in Kashmir, there is Kankan, and in Zahor, there is the stupa of Delightful Maker Youth. In the past, when the teacher Heruka subdued the wrathful retinue, the eight stupas, the support places of the eight great mothers, resided in the charnel grounds of the eight lands. Fifthly, the Shravaka stupa is like placing an overturned bowl on top of four folded Dharma robes and erecting a victory banner. The stupa of our own country has a square foundation, a round surface, and twelve layers in the shape of an eight-spoked wheel.
