The stable Dharmakaya, neither created nor destroyed, is good from the very beginning, unborn. Having consecrated it in this way, its eyes are opened. Thus, relying solely on the text that speaks of consecrating the Ghaṇṭā, after the body and other forms have been well constructed and vast offerings have been arranged, at the time of the festival, they are invited to sit on a high throne. Then, offerings and auspicious fasting are performed for them, the Prātimokṣa Sūtra is recited, and auspicious verses from the Vinaya and other texts are spoken, and merely scattering flowers is given the name of consecration. Similarly, in the Mahāyāna Sūtras, such as the Prajñāpāramitā, merely making offerings, praises, and auspicious ceremonies to the representations of the body, speech, and mind of the Sugatas is given the name of consecration, which is only a small part of it. However, Jamgön Sakya Paṇḍita said, "There is no mention of consecration in the Sūtras, but if one says that offerings, praises, and auspicious ceremonies, like the coronation of a king, are consecration, that is madness." And, "Visualizing the deity and reciting mantras, as well as preparing the vase deity, the actual Samayasattva, inviting and merging the Jñānacakra, opening the eyes and firmly establishing them, as well as the blessings of mantras, scattering flowers and making excellent offerings, the auspicious and extensive actions, are spoken of in the Tantric scriptures, but not in the Pāramitā." As he clearly stated. Secondly, the great teachers of India have inconceivable consecration rituals that explain in accordance with the intentions of each Tantra. However, among the translations in this land of snow, there are those that explain in accordance with the Kriyā Tantra, such as the many treatises composed by Paṇḍita Sumati Kīrti, the teacher Ngakgi Wangchuk Drakpa, and Pal Marmey Dze Zangpo. In the context of the Caryā Tantra, it says, "Please seat the consecrated Stūpa," and "The body of the Tathāgata is consecrated," but apart from that, the manner of the ritual is not clearly explained. However, it should be known that these two are in accordance with the Kriyā and Caryā in their own language, and are not connected to the extensive teachings of the higher Tantras, and therefore do not possess the nature of consecration. Those that explain in accordance with the Yoga Tantra are in that Tantra itself.

Among them, based on the Abhisheka Tantra, there are the consecration rituals for statues composed by the teacher Yogi Raksha, the consecration ritual composed by the great adept Kunying, the consecration ritual of the Prajñāpāramitā, and the stupa practice ritual of the teacher Śāntarakṣita. In the explanations that accord with the Anuttarayoga Tantra, based on the Hevajra Root Tantra, which states, "The nature of consecration is excellent," there is the Six Excellent Consecration Rituals composed by the great adept Ajitamitra, the consecration ritual explained in accordance with it by the teacher Kṛṣṇaśāntibhadra, the consecration composed by the Paṇḍita Śūnyatādhyāna Vajra based on the Guhyasamāja Mañjuvajra, the consecration composed by Kṛṣṇasamaya Vajra based on the Guhyasamāja Akṣobhya, the consecration composed by the lord Maitripa based on the Cakrasaṃvara Samvara, the consecration composed by the great adept Śrīdhara based on the Śrī Yamāntaka Tantra, the consecration composed by the teacher Abhayākaragupta based on the Maṇḍala Vajramālā, the consecration composed by the Paṇḍita Samantaśrī based on the Guṇḍihomaprabhava Tantra, and the consecration ritual composed by the Paṇḍita Sādhuputra based on the Śrī Kālacakra. Such a tradition of rituals is that, during the early dissemination of the teachings, during the reign of the Dharma King Trisong Detsen, the great abbot Śāntarakṣita, whose name is difficult to pronounce, performed a grand consecration for the Samye Monastery, the unchangeable and spontaneously accomplished temple, including its supports and supported objects. As a result, the first sun of millions of auspicious things rose in this land of snowy Tibet. During the later dissemination of the teachings, the Mahāpaṇḍita Dādhiprabha Gocha and the incarnate translator, the noble being Rinchen Zangpo, along with their disciples, performed a consecration in accordance with the Yoga Tantra for the Toling Golden Temple in Ngari. Similarly, the Paṇḍita Sumatikīrti performed a consecration in accordance with the Kriyā Tantra for a Cakrasaṃvara temple in Gungtang, Ngari, based on the five dhāraṇīs. In Tibet, Narima Nima Özer performed the Vajradhātu for the golden incense chamber of Bodong.
