How does the splendor of youth flourish? In short, it is the face of immaculate emptiness. With compassion, you paint with the colors of attachment, the bewildering appearance of the illusory net. Who can fully describe it? However, for the extremely clear poets, able to drink the river of hundreds of millions of praises without interruption, your biography is like an ocean. Brahma, Indra, Vishnu, Shiva, and all the great deities in the world, trembling, offer the lotus of your feet with hands holding up their disheveled hair. Possessing the ten powers, together with the sons of the Buddhas, the joyful spring, daily rains down showers of blossoming praises, a wondrous sight. Such a white fame, like a jewel banner, has long been an ornament to my ears. A respectful and like-minded youth, again and again, thinks like this: Alas! For all beings in the world, especially the people of the snowy lands, you are like a loving mother to her beloved child, with love, you deeply moisten your heart. Since this is so, whether oneself or others who share the same aspirations, are extremely pitiful, wandering endlessly in the ocean of samsara. Slightly frightened, the complexion is like a water lily scorched by the sun. Only the lament of calling out, "Noble One, Noble One, please listen," remains. Again, on the stone slab of the mind, carved with the chisel of memory, some indistinct traces, accompanied by a sigh, speak like this: Nowadays, in this degenerate age, those who engage in improper actions are like the spring in which various illusions grow in the cracks of the heart. Although easy, it is not the conduct of the noble ones. Even with diligent effort, they bear the burden of sin, practicing like asceticism, mostly wasting their days and nights. Some are bound by the greed of family, some are deceived by actions disguised as Dharma, and others do nothing, just sleeping in the bed of laziness. When rich, they are filled with arrogance, when poor, they are depressed and dispirited, not distinguishing the occasion. Even if living comfortably, they destroy themselves because of dissatisfaction. When praised, pride arises, when criticized, the great fire of anger blazes. Not speaking is because thoughts cannot be satisfied, so how can joy arise for you? When becoming friendly, attachment arises, when hostile to enemies, the mind is intoxicated with hatred, even living with equanimity, it is because of ignorance.

There is no going beyond karma. Hearing, diligence, and generosity are protected like life, Morality and patience are discarded like grass, Meditation and wisdom are still boasted about with mere pretense. Like a child who is more inferior than the inferior, Without making any distinction from them, Desiring only oneself to be supreme, What use is such arrogance even to Brahma? In short, the places that please the noble ones, Are all angry with me, Even in dreams they are not friendly, Now, what will become of me? More swiftly than the swaying of a lightning rope, The stream of life, The moment it is cut off, The fires of hell will surely burn unbearably. At that time, my protector, Rather than reversing the flood of karmic results, Wouldn't it be better if you could now, Cause this seed of sin to decay? However, if you consider karma, What will become of me when I am separated from karma? If you might take a neutral stance, Then great compassion is just an empty name. I, struck by such thoughts, If I seek other refuge, I will only destroy myself. Because I am certain that you surely know, There is no other way than to pray, Therefore, with grieving toes, Towards you, the wish-fulfilling lord, Climbing where I cannot reach, It is fitting to grant this supreme request. First, with blessings (Tibetan: བེཟླུརླས།, Sanskrit: वेधु र्लस्, Romanized Sanskrit: vedhurlas, Literal meaning: blessings), Clear away all the turbidity of the ocean of mind, Establish a place where, The images of faith and renunciation can be reflected. Wherever, if the law of entering the Dharma, Is not grasped with essence, Merely living is meaningless, Therefore, make it heavy with the wealth of teachings, And on that delightful shore, May I attain the grove of Sal trees filled with hearing, Intertwined with the flowers of thought-born, unerring. In the past, even for my own sake, I have not experienced the precious Bodhicitta, Now, for the sake of liberating all beings, Who pervade the extent of space, I need it. Likewise, the perfection of excellence, The courage of giving fully complete, Waving the jeweled fly-whisk, Please also grant me the power to give breath to sentient beings. Not befriending the dust of misdeeds, Drinking the pure and virtuous spring tide, May the good fortune of the other-benefiting lotus blooming, Become manifest reality. The anger of the object is like the sky, How can one measure its limit? Therefore, please moisten the mind, Which is the subject, with the nectar of patience. The supreme state, which is extremely difficult to find, In the hands of diligence
