I am endowed with all virtues and have no miserliness, My appearance is gentle, and my color becomes like gold. By offering lamps to the unparalleled stupa, One obtains eyes like the petals of a blooming blue lotus, Clear and beautiful, with long and attractive eyes, Possessing the eyes of a flawless deity. Whoever offers many lamps to the stupa, Their eyes will be beautiful, and their wealth will greatly increase, Their eyes will be long, with a noble color, Worthy of being seen by both men and women. At night, in front of the Great Sage (Shakyamuni Buddha), with palms joined, Offer lamp trees according to one's means, Those people will have results in other existences, And will also obtain bodies radiant with precious jewels. The lamps offered to the Victorious One, at the time of death, With a pure mind, joyfully here, Those who encourage diligence, Will surely obtain the five eyes. Whatever people, with a virtuous mind, Rejoice in the stupa of the Victorious One built by others, Even if they have not built it themselves, In short, those people are also considered to have built it. To those who possess discipline, who come from all directions, Whoever rejoices and offers beds and cushions, Those people, wandering in the various realms of samsara, Will obtain lion thrones and the best of cushions. Whoever gives excellent food to the Sangha, To the ordained and those in retreat, Those people, dwelling in the monasteries of samsara, Will obtain food with delicious flavors, colors, and tastes. Whoever generously gives abundant drinks, To the ordained and those in retreat, Those people, dwelling in the monasteries of samsara, Will obtain drinks with delicious flavors, colors, and tastes. Whoever hears the excellent Dharma, Taught by the teacher of the world, and diligently practices it, Those people will quickly cross, The terrifying ocean of samsara with its waves of afflictions. O King, all these virtuous deeds, Will ripen into various pleasures of samsara, And the supreme enlightenment of the Buddha, Will easily achieve its fruit. Thus it was spoken. In the "Arya Definitive Meaning Sutra" it is also said: The body of the Tathagata, beautiful in every way like a son without desire, is accomplished by having previously made images of the Tathagata's body, repaired damaged stupas, and rescued others from fear. It also says: The benefits of making an image of the Tathagata.

Monks, furthermore, having a good form, being pleasing to look at, being beautiful, having a complexion as good as gold, having a head as round as an umbrella, having long arms, having a broad forehead, having unbroken eyebrows, being endowed with all limbs and minor limbs, being adorned with all ornaments. Monks, this is the third benefit of the giver who makes an image of the Thus-Gone One. Monks, furthermore, one will become a wheel-turning king, possessing the seven precious jewels, surrounded by a thousand sons. All of his sons, wives, servants, or anyone who is close to him, will respectfully listen to him and obey his commands. Monks, this is the fourth benefit of the giver who makes an image of the Thus-Gone One. Monks, furthermore, after separating from this body, one will be born among the gods in the world of bliss and higher realms. Having been born there, one will become a distinguished lord of the gods, becoming a refuge for gods, sons of gods, and daughters of gods. And one will have power over ten things: the life of the gods, the color of the gods, the strength of the gods, the happiness of the gods, and the dominion of the gods.
