Will become a great power. By circumambulating the stupa, one will become the lord of the gods of the Non-Contention Heaven, and similarly, one will become the completely Joyful Heaven, the Delight in Emanation Heaven, and the Other-Controlled Emanation Heaven. By circumambulating the stupa, one will become the lord of Brahma in the Brahma world, and will be worshiped by countless hundreds of thousands of gods. By circumambulating the stupa, for millions of kalpas, and for eighty million kotis of kalpas, one will always be worshiped by those with wisdom. By circumambulating the stupa, for millions of kalpas, one's body will be pure, one's clothes will be pure, and one will possess the white dharma. By circumambulating the stupa, one will be endowed with strength and diligence. One will be without laziness and will attain great accomplishment. By circumambulating the stupa, one's diligence will be firm, and one's power will also be firm. One's skill will be firm, and nothing will be able to stop one, and one will quickly accomplish all things. By circumambulating the stupa, one will have a pleasant voice, a high tone, and a pleasing intonation. One will be without harm and without disease. By circumambulating the stupa, in this place that I have personally taught, one will quickly attain a good rebirth, and one will mostly obtain a good rebirth. By circumambulating the stupa, one will obtain the four mindfulnesses, the four immeasurables, and the power of the miraculous feet. By circumambulating the stupa, one will obtain the four noble truths, the faculties and the powers, and the fruit of the limbs of enlightenment. By circumambulating the stupa, one will become an arhat with great miraculous power, possessing the six superknowledges, without outflows, and having abandoned all defilements. By circumambulating the stupa, one will abandon desire and hatred, and having abandoned all retinues, one will attain the enlightenment of a solitary buddha. The action of the body is also circumambulation, the action of speech is also circumambulation, the action of mind is also circumambulation, and making aspirations is also circumambulation. The Protector of the World explained it. A hundred horses and a hundred gold coins, A hundred mule carts, A hundred mare carts, Even if filled with various jewels, It is not worth even one-sixteenth of a step taken while circumambulating. A hundred daughters of Kinnaras, Adorned with jeweled earrings and bracelets, Holding golden armlets, Their necks well adorned with gold, It is not worth even one-sixteenth of a step taken while circumambulating. A hundred snow mountain elephants, Large bodies or those who have given up trade, Bulls whose trunks resemble plow handles, Even if adorned with gold and jewels, It is not worth even one-sixteenth of a step taken while circumambulating. Whatever wise person, to the stupa of the Buddha, Takes a step with a joyful mind, It is not equal to hundreds of thousands of gold coins in the rivers of Jambudvipa. That is not equal to that. Whatever wise person, to the stupa of the Buddha, Places a lump of clay with a joyful mind, It is not equal to hundreds of thousands of piles of gold in the rivers of Jambudvipa. That is not equal to that. Whatever wise person, to the stupa of the Buddha, Piles up scattered flowers with a joyful mind, It is not equal to placing hundreds of thousands of golden vessels in the rivers of Jambudvipa. That is not equal to that. Whatever wise person, to the stupa of the Buddha, Hangs a garland of flowers with a joyful mind, It is not equal to two hundred million gold loads in the rivers of Jambudvipa. That is not equal to that. Whatever wise person, to the stupa of the Buddha, Bathes it with scented water with a joyful mind, It is not equal to hundreds of thousands of piles of gold in the rivers of Jambudvipa. That is not equal to that. Whatever wise person, to the stupa of the Buddha, Offers butter lamps with a joyful mind, It is not equal to one hundred million gold coins in the rivers of Jambudvipa. That is not equal to that. Whatever wise person, to the stupa of the Buddha, Hangs victory banners, canopies, and parasols with a joyful mind, It is not equal to hundreds of thousands of golden mountains the size of Mount Meru. That is not equal to that. This is the immeasurable Tathagata.
