Furthermore, in the Noble Heap of Jewels Sutra, in the Sutra of Questions by the Daughter Good Intelligence, it is also said: Daughter, a Bodhisattva who possesses four qualities will be born miraculously from a precious lotus in the presence of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. What are the four? They are: offering powder, or utpala flowers, or lotuses, or kumuda flowers, or white lotuses, extending their hands to the Tathagata's image or the Tathagata's stupa; and not generating harmful thoughts towards others; allowing the Tathagata's image to sit on a lotus seat; and having a definite and vast faith in the Buddha's enlightenment. Daughter, a Bodhisattva who possesses these four qualities will be born miraculously from a precious lotus in the presence of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. It is also said: Daughter, a Bodhisattva who possesses four qualities will go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field by means of miraculous power. What are the four? They are: not obstructing the roots of virtue of others; not obstructing others from listening to the Dharma; offering lamps to the Tathagata's stupas; and meditating on samadhi. Daughter, a Bodhisattva who possesses these four qualities will go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field by means of miraculous power. Furthermore, in the Noble Heap of Jewels Sutra, in the Sutra of the All-Expanding Qualities, Precious Flowers, it is said: Giving lamps, the light is completely pure. In the degenerate age, one fully upholds the sacred Dharma. One gives the Dharma to those who have become negligent. One offers a precious net to the stupas. That one goes to billions of countless Buddha-fields, and the Bodhisattva emits rays of light. Having touched sentient beings, they become endowed with happiness. The wise one strives for the sake of unsurpassed enlightenment. Also in that same sutra, it is said: One does not hold anger or resentment towards others. One is free from pride, arrogance, jealousy, and hatred. One speaks joyfully and sweetly, without contention. One respectfully sweeps the stupas of the Victorious Ones. That one constantly guards pure morality. That one constantly says, "Welcome." That one has no jealousy towards those who speak the Dharma. That one's mind is like a vajra, like Mount Meru. And
