And, because things are different in conventional truth through the means of abandoning antidotes and purity and impurity. It is not established that the object to be purified and the means of purification do not have different entities in conventional truth. If you think that these two (the object to be purified and the means of purification) are not established as entities in ultimate truth, and that they do not have different entities in conventional truth, then, in that case, all things that are different in conventional truth, such as hot and cold touches, would become too extreme in that they do not have different entities in conventional truth, because they do not have an entity in ultimate truth. If you think that because these two (the object to be purified and the means of purification) do not have an entity in ultimate truth, therefore, the difference in self-nature is not established in ultimate truth, and also the difference in self-nature is not established for the object to be purified and the means of purification in ultimate truth, then this is also accepted by others, and the teacher Könzangpa also thinks so. If you do not think so, then please meet again to discuss. Therefore, both the object to be purified and the means of purification are conventional truth, not ultimate truth, and although these two are not established at all in ultimate truth, in conventional truth they should be recognized as different things like light and darkness. Furthermore, regarding the intention of the three selflessnesses, some who are not skilled but pretend to be skilled proclaim that all things do not have their own entity, which is inconsistent with the views of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, just as proclaiming that all that is said to be emptiness is self-emptiness. Therefore, since it is said here that there is no self-nature in ultimate truth, it is not established that the nature of phenomena, the perfectly established, does not have its own entity. Just as when ultimate truth is said to be emptiness, ultimate truth does not become self-empty. According to the views of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the completely imputed does not have its own characteristics in all cases, therefore it does not have its own entity; the dependent empowerment has an entity that arises from others in conventional truth, but does not have an entity that arises from itself; and the perfectly established does not arise from others, therefore it is unborn and unceasing, peaceful from the beginning, and naturally in nirvana, therefore it is ultimate truth. So in ultimate truth it has its own entity, but in conventional truth it also does not have the entity of dependent empowerment. Therefore, the first two do not have their own entity, and the latter does not have the entity of others, so it is the reason for selflessness.

If these three types of selflessness are summarized, they can also be summarized into two types of selflessness, just like the emptiness of the two truths. If the ultimate consummation does not have its own nature in the ultimate sense, then it will become without nature in the ultimate truth. If this is admitted, then the ultimate Dharmakaya or Svabhavikakaya will become non-existent in the ultimate sense. If this is also admitted, then whatever exists in the nature of the conventional cannot possibly replace the function of the ultimate Dharmakaya and Svabhavikakaya. Therefore, these two kayas will become impossible for both truths to exist. If this is admitted, then both truths will be impossible in other respects as well. Therefore, these two kayas will become utterly impossible in the knowable, like a rabbit's horn and a barren woman's son. If this is also admitted, then the two Rupakayas that depend on these two kayas, as well as the Dharma spoken by them, and the Sangha who practice this Dharma, will also become impossible. Therefore, it will become a great sin of slandering the Three Jewels, and countless other faults will fall like a great hailstorm. Therefore, the ultimate kaya is established by the nature of the ultimate, so it is the Svabhavikakaya. As it is said: 'For self and other benefit, the ultimate kaya, and the conventional kaya that depends on it, with the fruits of separation and maturation, these sixty-four distinctions of qualities, are the place of one's own wealth, are the kaya of supreme meaning, are the symbolic kaya of the righteous, are the place of perfect fulfillment for others, the first kaya possesses powers and so on, qualities of separation and so on, the second is the marks of a great person, possessing qualities of maturation and so on.' And it is said: 'The Buddhas of the three kayas, should be known as the collection of all kayas, the three kayas show the meaning of self and other, together with the support.' And it is said: 'It is the support of the two things.' And so on, the Dharmakaya Svabhavikakaya is the ultimate kaya, is the place of perfect self-benefit, is the support of the two Rupakayas that perform the benefit of others, and so on, there are very many scriptures that show this, but they are not written here. Therefore, regarding the statement that all dharmas are without self-nature, is this way of selflessness three or two?
