Furthermore, if the truth of ultimate reality does not transcend dependent origination, then the truth of ultimate cessation will also not transcend dependent origination. If this is accepted, it will not transcend the unconditioned (འདུས་མ་བྱས།). If that were the case, it would be too extreme, becoming impermanent, false, and deceptive in nature, and not the ultimate refuge. This would contradict the definitive sutras of ultimate meaning. As it is said in the *Noble Jewel Heap Sutra, Lion's Roar of the Goddess Shri*: "Bhagavan, among these four noble truths, three truths are impermanent, and one truth is permanent. Why is that? Bhagavan, the three truths are for the sake of realizing the nature of conditioned phenomena. Bhagavan, whatever is realized as the nature of conditioned phenomena is impermanent. Whatever is impermanent is of a false and deceptive nature. Bhagavan, whatever is of a false and deceptive nature is untrue and impermanent, and is not a refuge. Bhagavan, therefore, the noble truth of suffering, the noble truth of the origin of suffering, and the noble truth of the path leading to the cessation of suffering are, strictly speaking, also untrue and impermanent, and are not refuges. Bhagavan, there is one truth here that transcends the realm of the nature of conditioned phenomena. Bhagavan, whatever transcends the realm of the nature of conditioned phenomena is permanent. Whatever is permanent is of a non-deceptive nature. Bhagavan, whatever is of a non-deceptive nature is true, permanent, and a refuge. Bhagavan, therefore, the truth of the cessation of suffering itself is, strictly speaking, true, permanent, and a refuge. Bhagavan, the truth of the cessation of suffering, which transcends the realm of the consciousness of sentient beings, is inconceivable and is not the object of knowledge of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas." And so on. This refutes the view that the body of Buddha's wisdom is conditioned, and is not true, permanent, and immutable. Furthermore, in your writings, it says that the intrinsic nature of reality

If the nature without limits is the only truth, then does your ultimate truth have the limit of existence, permanence, or truth? If so, all Buddhas or Dharmakayas, etc., would not transcend the limit and would truly exist, becoming a single permanence. Such things are established. If your view is that the ultimate Buddha's body is not an unchanging nature, permanence, and truth, then this would also become a fault of contradicting the deepest parts of the profound scriptures spoken by the Sugata. Because in the profound scriptures, the ultimate Buddha Dharmakaya, which is the Tathagatagarbha, is said to have gone beyond permanence, bliss, self, and purity. As it is said, in the Sutra of the Great Lion's Roar of the Goddess Sri Mala, it is said: "Bhagavan, the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata has existed since beginningless time, is not made, is not born, does not decay, has no decay, is permanent and stable, is completely pure by nature, is definitely liberated from the womb of all afflictions, does not abide separately from the Buddha's Dharma, is known through liberation, and possesses inconceivable qualities exceeding the sands of the Ganges, in order to indicate it by the name of the cessation of suffering. Bhagavan, the Tathagatagarbha, which is the Dharmakaya definitely liberated from the womb of afflictions, is called that. Bhagavan, the wisdom of the Tathagatagarbha itself is the emptiness wisdom of the Tathagatas. The Tathagatagarbha is what all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have never seen or realized before. The Bhagavan has comprehended and directly realized it. Bhagavan, understanding the emptiness of the Tathagatagarbha, there are two of these. Which two? Like this, Bhagavan, the Tathagatagarbha exists differently from the womb of all afflictions, empty of the consciousnesses that are not liberated; Bhagavan, the Tathagatagarbha does not abide separately from the Buddha's Dharma, and this consciousness of liberation is also a difficult place to conceive, like this, it is not empty of the virtues that are inconceivable and exceed the sands of the Ganges."

He said, "Ground," etc. This indicates that the essence of the Tathagata, the Dharmakaya, is not empty in its own nature, but is shown to be empty by adventitious defilements, thus establishing the other-emptiness. The Buddha's Dharmakaya also speaks of the true truth, such as permanence. As it is said in the Great Nirvana Sutra: "Good son, that which possesses permanence, bliss, and purity is called the meaning of true truth." Again, in the same sutra: "The unconditioned is the Great Nirvana, the permanent Nirvana. The permanent is the self. The self is purity. Purity is called bliss; permanence, bliss, self, and purity are the Tathagata." And: "Good son, the sky is unborn, unproduced, unmade, uncreated, not a conditioned dharma. The Tathagata is also the same: unborn, unproduced, unmade, uncreated, not a conditioned dharma. Just as the Tathagata is, so is the Buddha-nature: unborn, unproduced, unmade, uncreated, not a conditioned dharma." This shows that the Buddha-nature, the Dharmata, the ultimate truth, is beyond the conditioned; therefore, it is also established as being beyond dependent origination. Again, in the same sutra: "Light-protector, just as among all permanent dharmas, the sky is the most supreme, so too, the Tathagata is the most supreme and excellent among the permanent." And: "For example, the Tathagata is the dharma of permanence, bliss, and purity. Therefore, good son, the Tathagata is of the nature of permanence and immutability, unlike the inferior beings of the world who say that Brahma and others are of the nature of permanence. In short, this so-called permanent dharma is not a dharma other than the Tathagata." And: "Ananda, therefore, the Three Jewels are permanent, unchanging, and unmoving; it should be understood that they will become the protector and refuge of all sentient beings."
