Effluents and all phenomena, here the absence of entity is emptiness. That which exists without entity, that is other than that emptiness. That is to say, the absence of entity of persons and phenomena is the emptiness of the absence of entity. The essence of the basis of the absence of those two, the ultimate truth, is the emptiness of the essence of the absence of entity. These are also the meanings of self-emptiness and other-emptiness. The fourteen emptinesses previously shown also do not go beyond these two ways of emptiness, because they do not go beyond the meaning of eliminating the imputation of persons and phenomena, and the slander of the basis that is empty of them. Therefore, among the sixteen emptinesses that are spoken of, the first fourteen have the characteristic of emptiness or the way of emptiness, as appropriate, whether self-empty or other-empty. In order to show this, the latter two are mentioned, namely, inner and outer, etc., are self-empty. Ultimate truth and nature, etc., are other-empty. Therefore, you have cited the emptiness of self-nature, the emptiness of emptiness, the emptiness of all phenomena, the emptiness of ultimate truth, the emptiness of the unconditioned, and the emptiness of the essence of non-entity, etc., as things that harm the ultimate other-emptiness, but these will not become its harm, but only the one who cites them merely shows that they have not truly understood them. Briefly explain what the meaning of these is. The emptiness of the major and minor marks of a great being is the emptiness of self-nature. Seeing and knowing emptiness, that emptiness is the emptiness of emptiness. The emptiness of powers and fearlessness, etc., is the emptiness of all phenomena. Seeing the aspect of ultimate truth, that emptiness is the emptiness of ultimate truth. The emptiness of the merit of the unconditioned is the emptiness of the unconditioned. As stated in the Sambhuti Sutra, the Victorious Maitreya and the great Madhyamika master Vasubandhu also said, and the glorious Vajramala Tantra also said in the same way. Therefore, you have cited it as a proof that harms other-emptiness, but the master Simhabhadra explained all twenty emptinesses as self-nature emptiness.

śuddhatā tathātatayocyate। paścādekaikabhedena।

And, explaining self-nature emptiness as the emptiness of conditioned phenomena such as Dharma-wisdom, and explaining the emptiness of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena as the emptiness of arising from causes and conditions and not arising, this is inconsistent with the intention of the Victorious Maitreya, and also inconsistent with the glorious Sambhuti and the Vajra Garland Tantra. Furthermore, the Victorious Maitreya said that self-nature refers to lineage, and all phenomena refer to the qualities of the Dharmakaya, such as power and fearlessness. If the intention of this teacher is also consistent with this, then it is good. If it is not consistent, then it cannot be taken as a reliable source. Transcending extremes, etc., there are also places where one can analyze others, and one can also make detailed separate explanations, but because I am worried about the abundance of words, I have not written for the time being. Similarly, the chapters on ultimate emptiness being completely pure, form being completely pure, etc., all the chapters on complete purity, you have placed this as harming the ultimate other-emptiness, but this will not become a harm to other-emptiness, but through this, the ultimate other-emptiness itself is clearly shown. How is it shown? In the Perfection of Wisdom, it is said that form is completely pure, etc., and in the Mantra Vehicle, the aggregate of form is completely pure, it is said to be Vairochana, etc., and it is said that they are of one meaning. Moreover, the basis to be purified is, form, etc., other than the form, etc., which is completely pure in nature. The impurity to be purified is, sudden form, etc., existing in two parts, ultimate emptiness is completely pure, the Perfection of Wisdom is completely pure, omniscience is completely pure, etc., and the form, etc., which is said to be non-dual and cannot be made dual, not separate but undifferentiated, that completely pure form, etc., is the other-emptiness, the nature of which is completely pure, the Suchness of form, etc., which is empty of sudden form, etc. The glorious Naropa said in the Second Examination Tantra: "निश्चितवस्तुसर्वैस्तु। śuddhatā tathātatayocyate। paścādekaikabhedena। devaistu parikīrtyate, Literal Chinese meaning: Certainly all things, purity is said to be thus, afterwards one by one separately, the gods will proclaim.), in the commentary, beginning with "Now it is different from that," completely pure
