If there is no non-Buddhist doctrine, then why are there ascetics and Brahmins? Thus it is said. Indeed, it is a constant cycle. In this mandala, roar the lion's roar, and you too, constantly in the vast mandala of cycles, roar the lion's roar! Thus it was said. Here, those to be negated, such as form, etc., are self-empty because they are defilements to be abandoned. Those that always abide in the basis of cessation, the form etc. of the ultimate Sugata-garbha to be attained, are other-empty because they are the nature of clear light that cannot be abandoned. These scriptures also show that because the defilements to be purified are exhausted, the Sugata-garbha to be purified is not exhausted. Furthermore, In that supreme sutra itself, the bark of a tree, etc., is exhausted, but the heartwood is not exhausted, the oil of a lamp is exhausted, but the vessel is not exhausted, and so on, as examples, and through many reasons, the difference between self-emptiness and other-emptiness, and the way in which the great nirvana, the Buddha-nature, which is the basis of purification, abides without being exhausted because the defilements to be purified are exhausted, and so on, many wonderful and extraordinary things are said. As it is said: Blessed One, for example, outside a great city, in a grove of sala trees, there is a tree that was born first and is a hundred years old. At that time, the owner of the grove would water and cultivate it in due season. The bark, leaves, and branches of that tree all fell to the ground, and only the heartwood inside remained. The Tathagata is also like that, to the extent that it becomes rotten, everything is exhausted, and only the true Dharma remains. Thus it is said. Son of good family, for example, if a man or woman lights a lamp, filling a large or small lamp vessel with oil, as long as there is oil, there is also light. How the oil is exhausted, so the light also disappears. The disappearance of light is like the exhaustion of afflictions. Although the light is exhausted and gone, the lamp vessel has not disappeared. The Tathagata is also like that, although the afflictions are exhausted and gone, the Dharmakaya is always present. Thus, etc., it is said extensively and vastly, so by all means, that profound and ultimate supreme sutra should be sought. Here it is

Because of the fear of too many letters, not even one percent was written. In the Great Sutra called "Emptiness," also in the Great Madhyamaka Sutra, it is said: Ananda, for example, in this Deer Mother's mansion, there is emptiness of elephants, horses, cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, and pigs, emptiness of wealth, grains, guests, and gold, emptiness of male and female servants, laborers, those who live on milk porridge, men, women, boys, and girls, but here, for example, only the Sangha of monks, or relying on something else, is not empty. Ananda, similarly, it is empty by what is absent in it. Having truly seen this, yet whatever remains in it, exists in it. Having fully understood this as it is. Ananda, this is truly entering emptiness, it is not inverted. Such as these, extensively explaining the doctrine of other-emptiness, finally also said: In it, relying on the outflows of desire, existence, and ignorance, whatever are the places of affliction, although those are not there, yet in it, for example, the six sense bases based on the life force, only the places of affliction relying on that very body are there. Ananda, therefore, it is empty by what is absent in it. Having truly seen this, yet whatever remains in it, exists in it. Having fully understood this as it is. Ananda, for example, whatever is the exhaustion of outflows, the outflow-less and unconditioned liberation, this is entering the unsurpassed emptiness. Ananda, the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, all the Buddhas Bhagavan who appeared in the past, were also like this, for example, the exhaustion of outflows, the outflow-less and unconditioned liberation of entering the unsurpassed emptiness, having realized it with their bodies, practiced and dwelt in it. At the end, it was also declared to the present and future Tathagatas. The Deer Mother's mansion is empty of horses, cows, etc.
